Next day as usual , mom and dad picked Pia up from the house to drop her to the school and I went to my job.

At nearly noon time.
"Avantika madam, Sir is asking about you in his cabin." Ramu uncle, Dad's driver informed me.

"Ji Ramu kaka(uncle) I'm coming." I replied.

I was walking towards my dad's cabin when I saw Vineeth coming out of dad's cabin. What is he doing here. Well besides that he was wearing a big plaster to his right hand and his face was completely bruised. Whoever has done this to him, I bless him/her. I know I shouldn't think in such way but I can't resist blessing that man/woman. This guy deserves more than this. Unknowingly I had a big smile on my face on seeing his bruised face and he was just staring at me angrily.

While crossing our paths, he held my arms with a jerk and said " don't be too happy. This is not over yet. You are going to pay for this Avantika Verma. I'm going to take revenge for everything you have done to me. Be aware." and he walked off after releasing me.

What is this guy's problem, what did I do now.

Thinking about it I entered dad's cabin.
Inside, sitting in front of dad was Mr Singh. And Ayu was beside him.

"Hello Avantika. I thought I should announce the result of the project in front of you." Mr Singh said.

I looked towards dad and Ayu and nodded my head towards Singh Sir, saying to continue.

"Well I'm going for the deal only if you...."
"I'm okay with backing out sir." I interrupted him.
"Let him finish sweetheart." Dad said.
"Only if you are involved into this project. We would like to have a professional minded and strong woman like you." Mr Singh continued.

"I'll sir, thank you for joining hands sir." I replied and shook his hands.

"You are welcome beta." Mr Singh said " okay Ram I think I should take a leave now. And yes we all are having a party for the good cause we are going to start, so you all are invited."

"Sure Mr Singh, we all will attend it and thanks for coming." Dad replied.

Mr Singh left and Ayu too left to drop him off. I was about to escape because I know dad needs to talk to me about yesterday's Vineeth incident which I hid from them.

"Avi don't you dare to run away. Now will you explain. Are we not your parents. Do we abuse you, to not tell us anything happening in your life. I would have not known if Mr Singh had not told me about what happened yesterday. Sweetheart never hide anything from us. I want to protect you from all the dangers. You already have suffered alot. Never do this again. Promise me sweety." Dad said holding my hand.

"Sorry dad. I didn't want you guys to panic. I know you want to protect me but dad I have learned how to proceed in my life with lot of obstacles in my way. If I ever needed you guys in my life at my critical times, I'll never fail to reach you all. I promise dad." I replied.

"Good now let's  have lunch." Dad said.

Ayu returned. We all had lunch together like always. And we left to our respective cabins to check the patients.

After sometime

Since there were no patients anymore. I informed Ayu's PA that to inform him I'm leaving. I left to K's house. Well it has been so many days that I visited her last.

At K's house.

K opened the door.
"Hey Avi. How are you? Why did you come? I mean you could have informed me before coming here. I would've made something for you." K said acting stupid and sounding to loud.
