After nine heats, two crashes, 32 points to our team and 29 points to the others I'm starting to like this whole thing. Well it's still too noisy and there's too many flags close to my face but other than that it's pretty interesting. In heat number eight I got to see my high school friend driving for the second time tonight and she's actually a very good driver.

After the fifteen minute long break my dad gave me the program with every results from previous heats and from what I could see our team have the best female drivers according to it.

With my eyes stuck on the program I barely felt Aria nudging me in the side. I ripped my eyes off the colorful paper and closed it. ''What is it?'' I asked with my eyes searching through the crowd of people on the track. Seems like we just won the ninth heat.

''Did you see that Ali?! Our drivers just won the ninth heat!'' She screamed in my ear before standing up and waving her flag in the air. Ugh, she's worse than my dad, if that's possible.

''Yeah I saw, who took what?'' I opened up the program once again and motioned for her to wait until I had the right page up. I wrote down their names and numbers. ''Ok, talk.''

''Fields took 3 full points, Spencer took 2 points, Mascon got 1 point and Harris..'' I began to take notes while she was talking but suddenly she became quiet. I glanced up at her and saw her starring at something on the track. ''Um Ali? Look.''

I followed her gaze until it landed in the middle of the track. I had to stand up to see better and from what I could see it looked like they were fighting. Without asking I grabbed my dad's binoculars and zoomed in on them. Interesting..

Swung around the last curve and saw the finish line come closer and closer. I gassed a little extra before passing the black and white pattern. I glanced quickly behind me and saw Mascon slowly caught up with me, almost passing Hastings but the line was too close. A second later I passed it and took the 3 full points. I let go of the gas and let the motorcycle slow down by itself. Behind me I saw Hastings pass the line after me and then speed up beside me.

She held out her hand in my direction and since we're on the track I met it halfway. We nodded to each other before stopping our bikes in the grass. I didn't get off tho, I like the feeling it gives me.

I took off the blue helmet and placed it in my lap. I pulled off the headrest and let the wind take control over my dark brown hair.

''Excuse me.'' I voice behind me said. I turned my head to the side and saw Mascon stand with her arms crossed. ''You're such a motherfucker, your front wheel was touching my bike in the second curve!''

I shook my head in disbelief before facing away from her. She gets on my nerves every time but today i'm already mad so she better back off before I do something I shouldn't. ''So?'' I asked her before getting off my bike.

''You cheated your little dick! Everyone in this stadium saw it!''

I felt someone place their hand on my shoulder. Before I could turn my attention to see who it was the person whispered in my ear. ''She's not worth it, let's go back.'' Thank god for Hastings sometimes. She really knows how to calm me down. I nodded and started to back away from the angry asshole. I saw her classic mischievous smirk, maybe she thought she just won the argument. I better let her think that or we'll never be done. I gave her my fake smile and started to walk away from her with Hastings hand still on my shoulder.

''Go home and cry with your dad Fields! Your mom is a little too far away isn't she?!''

I froze and shook away Hastings comforting hand. I swung around and met those cold hearted green eyes of hers. I clenched my fists and made my way over to her. Close enough I pressed my chest against hers and pushed her backwards. ''What did you just say?'' I said trying to swallow my anger.

''Stop before they carry you out.'' She pointed on something behind me but I didn't have to look to understand what it was. This isn't the first time she gets on my nerves so I should be used to it but this time she went too far. She leaned in closer to me. ''Or maybe you want to be carried?'' She said barely audible with our noses almost touching. I breathed out in her face and pushed her away from me.

''Ladies! Stop right there or you both will be disqualified for the rest of the race!'' One of the judges yelled sharply behind my back.

Everything stayed like it for a few seconds before I turned around and walked off the track. I went up the stairs and into the depot. I saw my bike stand there with the engine off. A few boxes away I saw Hastings and her mechanics talk. Maybe I should be disqualified, I don't feel like driving more tonight. I don't care about the race right now, I just want to beat the shit out of that girl.

I took a deep breath and made my way down the metal stairs again. I heard someone yell my name but I ignored it. Like Hastings said 'It's not worth it.'

''Fields!'' I recognized that voice, it's the coach. ''Stay right there!'' He said sharply but I ignored it. Surprisingly he didn't follow me out of the depot. Good for me.

As soon as I reached the dirty path that's leading down to the track I felt someone grab my arm from behind. ''You don't wanna do this Emily.'' I swung around and tried to shook off Hastings hand but she had a harder grip this time.

''Let me go.'' I said as calmly as possible.

''No, we need you, you can't be disqualified tonight.''

''I don't give a fuck okay? Live your dream, play big, win your races, I don't care! Just let me go!'' I pushed her away from me and sprinted out on the track. There she was. A monster in human shape with light brown hair down to the middle of her back. Close enough I tackled her to the ground and right there everything stopped.

I'll be disqualified, probably going to lose my job, the supporters are going to hate me, my couch and teammates are going to hate me. Everything is done.

That's what I thought. I had time to almost hit her before I felt people grab my arms and force me off her. I tried to shake them away but gave up since it was three big guards with more muscles than Dwayne Johnson himself.

''What the fuck Emily I told you to not go out here again!'' Hastings said once she was beside me. I scoffed and adjusted my leather suit. ''I know you're mad but you can't let her take you down.'' She told me.

''Pfft, you're such a mother Hastings!'' Mascon yelled as she walked up to us. ''Do you really need to tell sweet little Emily here what to do?'' God I hate that woman. She's the one that should be disqualified for being a dick.

''What's your problem? Go back to the dirty camping you came from! We won the heat and Emily's a better driver so just get off our track before we kick you off like a football.''

I couldn't help but give Hastings an applaud for the amazing speech. I wanted to say it myself but it sound better from her mouth. I glanced around me, the audience was completely quiet with their attention on us. I mouthed a 'thank you' to Hastings before we all jogged off the track.

''Fields!'' The coach yelled once I came inside the depot. ''Come here, I wanna talk to you.'' I took a nervous breath and jogged over to him.

''Yeah coach?''

''You really got your attention out there, it's not popular and you should know that after four years.'' He told me. I nodded and let my eyes get stuck on the ground. ''But..Mascon has been a real pain in the ass since the season started so..you're still on, if you want?''

''Thanks coach.'' I couldn't help but crack a small smile. I still have one heat with that girl and i'm so gonna beat her ass again and leave her crying next to her bike.
