( Alison )

Wow, Fields almost attacked that girl. Too bad I couldn't hear them since I love to find out people's secrets.

''Ali do you see anything interesting?'' The short brunette next to me asked. I dropped down the binoculars and gave her a simple nod. ''Did anything happen to Spencer?''

''I don't think so, but she was on the track too.''

''We need to talk to her before her next heat.'' I was going to answer her when she out of nowhere grabbed me by my t-shirt and forced me with her. ''Come on.''

''Chill out.'' I told her before dumping the program, the pen and the binoculars in my dad's lap. ''Dad we're coming back later.'' I yelled to him before I jogged after my short friend.

After what felt like forever we finally made it to a shining metal door. ''And now what?'' I asked to no one in particular. I looked away for a second and when I looked back she had already opened it.

''Are you coming?'' She asked with a wide grin.

''Hmph.'' I scoffed.

I followed her inside and closed the door behind me. Next thing I saw shocked me. It's so much bigger than it looks like from the outside. I glanced from box to box. After one whole hour in this stadium I recognize every name on the wall. Furthest to the left I saw Spencer's box and of course Aria was already there hugging the life out of her friend.

I made my way over to them and knocked gently on the wooden pole. They pulled apart and when Spencer saw me her face lighted up. ''Oh my god, what are you doing here?'' She exclaimed before wrapping her arms around me in a tight but short hug.

''My dad forced me to go with him and well, here I am.''

''Sorry about that, I know you don't like this kind of stuff.''

''Don't worry about it. It's not as terrible as I thought it was gonna be.''

She nodded smiling. It became an awkward silence until a short black haired man came rushing from the track. He told the drivers to gather themselves around him and have an emergency meeting. That's nothing for Aria and I so we decided to stay in Spencer's box in the meantime.

''Isn't it fun? I mean there's so much more to see in here.''

''Sure but I still don't like their colorful leather suits.''

''Really Ali? Everything's perfect but you still manage to find something to complain about?'' That rough tone came back again. Either she's in love with Speedway or she's just insane. I bet both. ''Try to live a little.''

''I'm trying but I really need something to drink. My throat's burning from our run marathon."

I was going to stand up and search for somewhere to find soda or anything to drink when someone suddenly appeared from the right and held out a soda in front of my face. ''I heard your wish.'' The person uttered. I glanced up and saw a black haired girl with dark brown eyes smile at me.

''Thanks..'' I mumble not knowing what to say.

''No problem.'' She say before turning her attention towards Aria. ''Hello Aria.''

''Hey Mona.'' Aria mumble with her mouth wide open. ''Nice to see you again.'' I heard the sarcasm in her voice. I bet there's some unfinished business here.

''You don't have to lie. I know you don't like me.'' I studied her closely and saw how she winked at Aria before she turned her heels and walked away. ''What's the story behind that?'' I questioned while facing the angry brunette.

''It was nearly three years ago at a party. Spencer asked me to go with her since she was new and wanted company. Of course I said yes because who wouldn't? Thirty minutes into the party I saw Mona arrive with Emily Fields--''

''Wait, you mean the driver Fields?'' I interrupted. She nodded and crossed her legs. ''Sorry, continue.'' I added before leaning back.

''She saw how close Spencer and I are and tried everything to break us apart. She started to flirt with her, ask her private questions, she even sat down in her lap!'' I don't know if I'm stupid but I think I saw a hint of jealousy in her facial expression. She frowned and looked up in the ceiling. Yep, she's definitely jealous.

''Um Aria? I don't know how to ask this but is it possible that you have..you know.. feelings for Spencer?'' The last words came out as a whisper since I don't want Spencer to hear what we're talking about.

I waited impatiently for her to answer but her mouth didn't open once during these seconds. Instead she tried to avoid my gaze and started to play with her fingers. I reached for her and hit her shoulder. ''Answer me!''

''Fine! Maybe I have some kind of--'' She got interrupted by Spencer coming into the box with her hands filled with dirt. Her costume was now open with the arms tied around her waist. Upwards she had a black tank top with the text 'Get Paid or Get Laid.' I couldn't help but chuckle. My eyes wandered back to Aria who had a hard time not to stare.

''So..Did I miss something?'' Spencer end up saying after several seconds of silence.

I glanced at Aria but she was too busy reading a random magazine to react. ''No we were just talking.'' I told her.

''Okay.'' She sat down next to me and wiped her hands on the costume. ''I'm really glad you guys are here. It means a lot.''

I smiled at her and put my head on her shoulder. I felt her lean her head against mine and somehow I forgot about jealous Aria for a moment. It was first when she cleared her throat I pulled away and sat up straight. ''Well I'll go get some more soda.'' I said before walking out of the box. I threw one last glance at them and saw Aria sit down next to her in my seat.

With a big smile plastered on my I made my way towards the vending machine. Close enough someone stepped out right in front of me. I had no time to stop so of course I bumped into the person's chest which caused us both to collapse on the floor.

''Just my luck.'' I uttered once I had rolled off the tall woman. I placed my hand on my forehead and sighed dramatically. ''Are you okay?''

''So this is your way of saying hello to people?'' The woman asked before she sat up and rubbed the back of her head.

''Not usually.''

I got up from the floor and held out my hand for her to take. Once she was up on her feet I realized who it was. I could feel my cheeks heat up the more I looked at her. God did I have to bump into one of the stars? So fucking clumsy Alison.

Without another word I turned around and walked away. I need to get back to Spencer's box before my face explode.
