''Are you sure she wants us to come?''

''Of course not, but she's been down since Alison left. We need to get her up before she dies in there.'' Mona said.

Hanna began to search in her pockets for her key to Emily's apartment. Yes, she gave her a key not so long ago so she could visit whenever she wanted. After what felt like forever she finally found them. She twisted the lock and pressed the heavy door open. The smell of old food and sweaty clothes reached their noses. They had to cover it with their shirts to not puke. ''God, when was the last time she cleaned?'' Hanna asked.

''I've no idea but based on the smell i'd say a very long time ago.'' Mona's voice turned into a whisper when they stepped inside the hall so Emily wouldn't hear them. Out of nowhere she froze with her eyes stuck to the floor. ''Is that pee or soda?'' She asked and pointed on a yellow-brown stain.

Hanna leaned down to take a better look at it. Mona began to freak out behind Hanna's back the closer she got. ''Calm down, it's just soda.'' Hanna said after seconds of investigating. They climbed over it and dumped their bags on the brunette's couch. Hanna's eyes began to wander around in the room. Geez, it can't be healthy to live like this.

''She's in here.'' Mona's voice interrupted her thoughts. She turned her attention to her short friend and sneaked up to the bedroom door to peek inside. There she was, with her legs spread across the bed and a pillow that's covering the back of her head. ''Emily..?'' Mona tried but no reaction.

Mona shrugged and motioned for Hanna to try. She sighed and walked up beside Emily's bed. ''Come on your lazy asshole! It's time to get out and face the world!'' Hanna yelled on the top of her lungs. Her attention got back to Mona who was covering her ears with her hands.

''Loud enough?'' Mona said sarcastically before picking up one of the pillow from the floor and throwing it in her face.

Hanna scoffed and picked up another one to throw back when movements from the bed made her froze. The tall brunette rolled over and opened her sleepy eyes. ''What the fuck?'' She exclaimed. ''How the fuck did you two come in here?''

''I have a key, remember?''

She frowned and covered her face again. ''And I regret giving it to you every day.'' Her words made Mona burst out laughing but Hanna's face was more like a volcano ready to explode.

''So..how are you feeling?'' Mona asked once she'd stopped laughing.

Emily uncovered her face and sighed. ''What does it look like? I don't have the power to do anything anymore.''

Hanna's voice interrupted. ''I don't understand though, you've never been like this over a girl. Why now?''

''Hanna! Maybe she's feeling something?'' Mona's words was a combination between support and bullying, it always has been. More like a joke than actual support.

Her friends looked down on their broken speedway friend. They'd never seen her like this before. ''I'm so sorry Em.'' Hanna sat down next to her and rubbed her leg.

''I don't even have the courage to tell her how I feel. I'm such a dork.'' Emily whispered before falling back onto the bed.

''Is there something we can do?'' Mona asked before she sat down next to them. ''Like..buy you pizza or give you a new girl or anything?''

The brunette scoffed. ''Thanks but I don't want another girl. My only wish would be for Alison to come back here and talk to me like before.''

''You really do feel something don't you?'' Hanna's calm voice filled the room. Emily nodded and pulled up the blanket enough for her face to disappear.

Suddenly Mona's face light up like a lamp. ''But what if we get Alison to come?''

Emily's frown grew louder. ''She won't. She hates me and she always will.'' She paused and took a deep breath. ''And if you don't mind I'd like to hug my bed for another 24 hours so please come back never.'' She said earning an eye roll from her friends.

They gave up and went out of the bedroom. Hanna closed the bedroom door behind her and sat down on the couch. ''Okay, we have a mission.''

''Why? She doesn't want to do anything so why should we?'' Mona said with her arms crossed.

''Oh please, we're a good team. Let's call Alison and fix this problem.''
