The Voyage of the Dawn Treader

Chapter 2 - Reuniting with Caspian

Double doors opened and we entered into the throne room nothing much had changed in how many years we have gone i was biased to say that Cair Paravel was much grander than this.

"Emma, Christopher its great to see you again" Caspian walked closer with open arms i was the first to embracing him in a hug.

"Caspian it is so good to see you again. how many years has it been since we were last here?" we realised each other from the embrace and he shook Christopher's hand.

"three years my friend. come let's sit."  he took us to a table and he pulled out a chair for ma and i sat down thanking him.

"three years its close enough." i shrugged Caspian himself sat down and poured us a drink.

"what brings the High Queen and her son back to Narnia?" he asked

"adventure, back home so much has happened for us it has been only a year and in that time a great deal of things have changed so we decided to return for something exciting" i beam

"is that so and pray tell what thing have happened in the land of our forefathers?" i took a sip.

"i have a baby sister" Christopher chirped i laughed

"is that so and what is you the new Princesses name?" he asked Chris

"Eleanor but we call her Ella" he replied

"I'm sure she is as beautiful as her mother as your are as handsome as your father." Caspian smiled

"yes but being with child in the other world is not as simple as it is here. that is for sure" i added

"is that so." i nodded

"for in every life Peter and i are married in our world only those who know of Narnia know it in everyone else's eyes i was pregnant out of wedlock although it is funny how they could never fathom how it was if they only knew of the gift my father gave us." i replied he got the message.

"so you have returned to seek adventure, it looks like you have returned in time two day hence we set off on the Dawn Treader fines sheep in the fleet in search of the Seven Lost Lords of Telmar. would you'd like to join?2 our eyes lit up.

"if that wouldn't be much trouble we would hate to be a burden" he grinned

"you Emma and Christopher would never be a burden for you are a part of the reason i am King. i shall have quarters for you on this ship ready before we leave." he nodded

"so what has been going on these past years" he laughed and asked for food as he began of the tale defeating the Giants and defeating them as well as the Calmarin solders  in the dessert there was now peace throughout Narnia. once we had eaten i was telling my tale of what happened after Narnia and where everyone was now.

"are you tired sweetie" i asked Chris who nodded

"come with me rooms have been prepare for your short stay her until we set sail." he led us to a room.

"thank you Caspian. for everything." i smiled

"it is no trouble Emma what's mine is yours" i opened the door and looked through the draws, i pulled out some bed clothes and gave them to Christopher i went to my room and changed before returning and bidding goodnight.

the next morning i woke up and opened the curtains there was a knock on the door so i opened it a young woman older than me smiled.

"good morning you majesty i am Alexia you maid" i opened the door further.

"good morning Alexia" she came through with fresh towels.

"the King has asked for you and King Christopher to join him for breakfast." she started to make a bath.

"yes of course, thank you." i washed and ready myself with the help of Alexia until i was ready i thanked her and left my room where Christopher was waiting.

"good morning Mama" he hugged me

"morning Sweetie how are you enjoying being back in Narnia?" i asked as we made our way to the breakfast room.

"it's great mama i missed being here but i also miss Papa and Ella sometimes." i nod

"so do i but we will be home soon enough and no time will have past so let's enjoy it while we can." i offered and he agreed.
