Darren's POV

I put my RayBan sunglasses over my eyes then head inside the airport. There were just a few fans waiting outside for me. Which kinda surprises me cause I didn't know I was that big in NY. Of course, it's no Manila, but I still feel the love. I started to walk towards the girls for a picture or autograph, they were about only 7 of them so I could deal. They started squealing and had big bright smiles on their face. But before I could go closer, my manager stopped me with his hand grabbing on to my shoulder.

"Darren we have to go, we're already late for this flight, " He said firmly, then walked forward. I gave the girls a little "i'm sorry" look, and their smiles went down.

"Pasensya na po" I apologized, giving them a frown as I followed all the men in front of me.

We went up the escalator and made our way through all the people crowded around everywhere. We were all lead to this little isolated area with just a few people, then were escorted out this back door. The outside was a huge open area with all the jets lined up together and guys in bright green vests. The man who led us all stopped then motioned his arm towards our little private jet.

There was a pretty good view up here of the sunset and a little of the city lights.

I didn't exactly want to go home yet. Private jets are pretty cool if you ask me. I was only in NY for a short amount of time, but I at least wanted some time to walk around here. As I was walking towards our jet with everyone else, wind blowing on our faces, I tapped my dad on the shoulder then he turned around with a joyful face.

"Private jet! Cool, right Darren?" My dad said happily, motioning to the jet we were about to go into.

"Oo nga" I agree, forcing a smile. "Dad I can't find my headphones, baka nahulog sa loob. Can I go back inside and look for it?"

My headphones were in my backpack, I just needed an excuse to go back. My dad gave me a worried look as he looked at the plane and then me. We were already late, but I knew my dad would just cover for me.

"Ay sige. Bilisin mo, ha" My dad sighed. I shot him a smile then ran back to the exit, making my way to the place I was before.

I walked around the airport, going back to the same place I was when I saw those girls. I looked around but I didn't see them, I was probably too late. I hate disappointing my fans, just gives me the worst feeling when I let them down. But I guess I have to get used to it when or if I get bigger than I am now.

I then head over to the bathroom to go check myself out. The bathroom was empty, except for this one kid that brought a skateboard with him. Weird.

I fix my hair up a bit in front of the mirror, and the same guy went next to me in the sink, washing his hands. He takes a look at me using the mirror.

"Hey, aren't you famous?" The guy asked, trying to make small talk. He looked a bit younger than me, wearing a black snapback with his long hair sticking out from under the hat. He had a thrasher hoodie that went along with his skateboard.

"Oh, yeah. Darren Espanto" I say as I keep running my fingers through my hair.

"Sick, i'm Nick, " He said, holding out a fist for a fist bump. I stop messing with my hair then give the guy a smile.
