"Hurry up. Baka may snake dito" I sigh as I talk to JK on the other line on the phone. I kick my feet on some dried up leaves.
"Bro, just hold on, I still have to catch a tricycle before the fans come, just chill out there or whatever. Bye" JK says. He hangs up then I shove my phone in my back pocket.
Forests. Beautiful, yet mysterious. I look around at the tall trees as I wander around. Looking around more, I see someone. From a distance, I see a girl. The girl turns a bit, letting me see the side of her face. As smile spreads across my as I see her again.
"Lei?" I call out. She turns around at the bear of her name, looks around, then spots me as our eyes lock. She gives me a friendly smile then walks over to me.
"Heeeyy, what're you doing here?" Lei asks in a chill way. I look at her and see the same camera around her neck.
"Um, i'm just waiting for a friend, gonna do a bit of song writing and he wanted to come here so," I explain. "You?"
"Oh sick, and I just wanted to take a few pictures, explore, to you know, take your mind off of some things" Lei laughs slightly
Take your mind off of things? Off of what?
Whatever, forget it.
Lei starts to walk around and take some more photographs. As a force of habit, I follow her, to not be alone.
I watch as she snaps a picture, looks at it, then smiles. She just...enjoys everything.
"You really like photography, don't you?" I call out. Lei curls her lips into a small smile then looks down at her camera.
"This camera's like my third eye" She says sweetly.
Do I like her? Do I just like to be around her? I don't know. What does she think of me? Friends? Acquaintances? That one guy that she always runs into?
This is probably our first normal conversation. I enjoyed how easy-going it is to talk to her without me worrying so much or something going wrong.
As we did a bit of walking around, Lei started a conversation.
"So, what do you usually write songs about?" She asks.
"I mostly write about love and all that" I reply as I push some branches out of my way.
Lei chuckles a bit.
"What?" I ask.
"Oh, nothing. It's just...love"
"What about it?"
"I don't know, I just think it's a bit funny, I don't really believe in 'love'" Lei shrugs.
"You don't believe in love? Why would yo-" I start, but then get interrupted.
"-Um, wanna try out my camera?" Lei interrupts as she takes the strap off her neck.
"Uhh, sure, I guess" I say as she hands me her camera. Lei runs to the tree in front of us and fixes her messy brown hair then poses as if it was a photoshoot. I lift an eyebrow then chuckle a bit.
"What?" she laughs. "Oh, you want a selfie, alright"
She runs over to my side then smiles. Aw, her hair smells like strawberries....stop being weird Darren.
I held the camera up, then face it backwards so the lens face us. Lei then goes closer to me. I do my regular selfie smile then snap the picture. I take a look at it then smile.
"Awh, cute. Now just wander around, take pictures of whatever on there, something beautiful" Lei says, then walks away.
I put my eye up to the viewer then look around. Trees. Trees. and Trees. I snap a few pictures. I spot Lei once again and see her get closer to a tree.
"Aw, you stuck little guy?" She says softly. I look a bit closer then see a bird stuck to a branch. Lei runs her hands through her hair to get it out of the way the starts to help the bird. I grin, put my eye up to the viewer, then snap a picture of her.
Another side of Lei.
"Bro!" I get startled by a sound of someone by me. I put down the camera then sigh at the sight of JK.
"Bro, i've been yelling your name and calling you for like 5 minutes, answer your damn phone.....wow I feel like a mom" JK says all in one breath.
"Ay, sorry bro. I just walked around with Lei" I replied.
"Lei? That girl you always talk about?" JK smirks. I give him a "shh" sign then Lei comes over. She comes to my side, then looks at JK
I look at both JK and Lei, and they both can't keep their eyes off of each other.
...What?

haven't updated in a long time wow i'm a terrible writer. Anyways, i've been rly busy with school and such, i'll try to update as much as I can but as of now I probably can't so often. Enjoy the story ;)
