chapter fifteen - weird

~Lei's POV~
 
"Sunday mornin rain is falling,
Steal some covers share some skin"

The sweet sound of guitar strings and singing voice awakens me. I hate mornings, usually when I have to go to school. But I like this morning, comfy bed, pitter patter of rain outside, everything just so—

"Shut up, JK!!" I heard someone yell. I lightly open my eyes and see Amelia laying down next to me with her eyes shut tight and covering her own pillow over her ears.

Oh right. I stayed at Amelia's last night.

"Can't stand to hear my voice princesa?" I heard JK's voice, I can't see him but I can tell he has that little smirk on his face.

"Bro, did you just call her princess" I heard Darren's sweet laugh.

Wait...Princess?!

I sat up then rubbed my eyes, looking around at Amelia's room. Darren was just on the couch on his phone. I then noticed JK sitting near the window playing the guitar with his feet propped up on a small table. Amelia immediately sat up with an mad/annoyed look on her face, with her eyes narrowing right at JK.

"Don't call me that!" Amelia grunted. She then proceeded to hurl a pillow at him, causing random strings to play.

"Aray. And hey watch the guitar!" JK yelled back, then hugging his guitar.

Amelia just rolled her eyes then crossed her arms. I lightly chuckle then leaned over to give Amelia a hug from the side.

"Morning guys" I say with a little raspiness in my voice, and they proceeded to say it back.

"Hold on, did they sleep with us over night?" I asked as I got up from bed.

"Ha, they wish. Natulog sila sa guest room" Amelia said as she got up too. "You fell asleep after you showered"

"Ohh, so what adventures await us today?" I say, running my hands through my tangled hair.

"Nothing, because you all are gonna leave my house and never come back" Amelia says as she crosses her arms "You guys weren't even supposed to sleepover anyways"

"And Lei, I need my pajamas back" She says, motioning to hand it over.

"Aww but they're so comfy" I grin, taking a look at the silky light blue tank top and shorts I had on. The smooth feel of it makes me feel luxury.

She sighs then nods her head as she makes her bed. I smile at her then walk over to Darren, who had a genuine smile as I sat next to him.

"Hey, wanna hang out today?" I ask, poking his cheek jokingly.

"Eh, di ko alam. May pasok pa 'ko bukas" Darren replies, grabbing my finger then poking me with it.

"Come on, we could do some fun crap" I suggest.

"I gues-"

"Yes! You won't be disappointed" I grin, I stand up then ruffle his hair, walking back to Amelia, who was making her bed.

"So, gonna go on one of those 'dates' people go to?" Amelia asked. And I lightly chuckle.

"Gotta admit, he's arguably one of cutest people i've known, next to Zac Efron. But I don't know, relationships are weird" I reply, sighing and taking a glance at Darren talking to JK.
