~Darren's POV~
Finally!
Relaxation.
I've had a busy week full on mall shows, show guestings, and the dreaded school work. This is probably gonna be my first weekend this month that i'm not up to anything. Friday afternoon, just got out of school a few hours ago, and I plan on just eating and maybe inviting Kyle and Bailey over for some GTA.
Since my parents aren't home, it was just me and Lynelle chilling at our place. My house is big, I admit. When i'm home alone I do the weirdest things. One of the weird things I do, i'm doing at the moment. Rollerblading around the house was just some of the things I do when i'm bored. Why rollerblade around the house? Funny story.
A while back JK, Kyle, and Bailey wanted to hang out a roller rink one day. I didn't know how to freaking rollerblade, but I went anyways. At the end of the day, my butt was hurting for three days and I felt as bruised as that one banana in your fruit bowl that no one's touched for a while. I started to practice at home and it somewhat became a regular thing for me to rollerblade around the house.
"Kuya Darren! Gutom na gutom na 'ko!" I heard Lynelle yell from the kitchen. Of course. I was just rewatching Barcelona at the moment, and I groggily get up from the couch then skate to the kitchen, seeing my chubby little sister digging through the fridge. I take a halt then lean near food pantry. I open the pantry and see the whole bunch of junk food and canned goods.
"Anong gusto mo, KoKo Krunch, chicheria, itlog, the leftover kare-kare in the fridge?" I ask, pointing off all the things in the list.
"Lutoin mo ko ng...mac and cheese!" She exclaimed, holding a box of mac and cheese in her hand and showing it to me. I glance at the tv then frown at the fact i'm gonna miss half of the Kathniel movie i'm watching if I cook her mac and cheese. I look back at her and she had an intimidating look on her face. Welp. Girl's gotta eat.
"Sige. Get a pot and start filling it with water" I sigh. She suddenly perks up and starts getting the pan. I love relaxing, but not as much as that cute little smile on her face when she's happy.
Instead of just watching the movie, I turn on the speakers and start playing Kilometro my Sarah Geronimo. I skate over to where she was then grab the mac and cheese box. Hm, not that hard.
"Uh, Kuya Darren" Lynelle said, sounding unsurely.
"Yeah?" I asked, not taking my eyes away from the box.
"Ang...ang bigat bigat to!" She said with a shaky voice. I furrow my eyebrows then turn around, seeing a Lynelle struggling to hold a heavy pot of water with her arms shaking, looking like it was either her, or the pot that was about to fall on the floor. My eyes suddenly widen and I quickly try to skate over to the other side of the kitchen where she was.
"No I didn't say to—" I start to shout, but suddenly I lose my balance and start slipping all over the floor trying to gain it back, making me look like a complete idiot.
Next thing I knew, a big splash of water spilled all over the floor, and I was heading right towards it. I try to grab on to Lynelle, but it was basically useless cause right at that moment I fell facefirst into a big puddle of water. The only thing in front of my eyes were Lynelle's small feet and the cold hard ground.
