~Darren's POV~

I take a look at Lei's front door, preparing myself to ring the doorbell. You're just hanging out, no big deal. Not like you've done it like 10 times already. I press the doorbell and silently wait, but after a minute the door still hasn't opened. I press it once again and still, it didn't open. Are they home?

"Oh SHOOT!"

I heard something faint from the other side of the door. After about a minute, I heard loud footsteps that I think was running down the stairs. I slowly lean my head towards the door to get a better sound. I leaned more until my head was touching it. I think it was Lei.

"Move out of the freaking way, Nick!" I heard, then a loud thud.

What happened? I lean in closer to the door. The door then suddenly opens and next thing knew I was stumbling on my feet and falling forward, until Lei caught me before I could fall on my face. She pushes me back up then I stand on my feet.

"Uh, hey Darren" Lei said nicely, trying to ignore what happened just then. She came out wearing just a plain outfit. An oversized 'I heart NY' shirt lightly tucked into a pair of ripped jeans with vans. With her hair also up in a high ponytail with a few strands flying out. So pretty.

"Um, heyy" I say, dusting myself off. Nick comes up from behind Lei then he starts snickering. I see Lei low-key hit him from behind, keeping a smile on her face.  Oh how that smile could light up a room.....New song idea?

"Sorry dude, I took a quick nap and basically forgot we were gonna hang out today" Lei explained as she ran her hands through her soft brown hair.

"It's all good, I probably would've done the same" I chuckle. "Hey my driver's out there, wanna head out?"

"I have a little stuff to do first, wanna come in?" She asks.

I step into her house then take a look around. It wasn't the biggest or fanciest, compared to Amelia's, but it still looked really nice. 3rd time at her place, first was the party, second was when I randomly came over one night, which wasn't that long since I had to leave early.

"Oh, yeah by the way is it okay if my brother Nick comes along?" She asks.

"Oh, uh, of course! Why not?" I chuckle. Nick comes up from behind her then we do a little high five fist bump thing.

I was hoping more on some time with just Lei. She hasn't told me where we're going, but anywhere's fine as long as i'm with her.....since when was I so cheesy?

"Be right back" She says as she runs upstairs. I silently wait, until Nick comes up to me.

"Hey you're a famous singer, right?" Nick asks

"Yeahh, why?" I ask

"Just wondering. You could be out doing shows or meet and greets or whatever but choose to be with Lei, why's that?" Nick asks.

"Why are you... wait is Lei a gold digger or something cause-"

"No she's not a gold digger. At least I don't think so, but hey maybe you could talk to a few people, get me into-"
