It was night outside of Scott's house.

Stiles and I were trying to fix the Jeep.

Liam had gone inside to talk to Scott about the alive chimeras, saying that Hayden was one of the chimeras in Theo's pack.

Scott walked outside toward us.

"So, what did he want?" Stiles asked.

"To help," Scott answered.

"You gonna let him?" Stiles asked.

"Eventually, I guess," Scott answered.

"Okay, but shouldn't he be a little higher on your priority list right now?" I asked. "I mean, since he's the only other actual werewolf, your only actual beta."

"You didn't see the way that he came at me," Scott told us. "You didn't see the look in his eyes."

"Well, I've been with you on a full moon, so I've seen that look," Stiles told him.

"You want to get the band back together, Scott, you don't leave out the drummer," I told him.

Stiles tried to start the engine of the Jeep, to find that it came roaring to life. "Success! Yes!" We got into the Jeep, with Stiles in the driver's seat, me in the passenger seat, an Scott in the backseat. Scott looked at all of the anti-freeze bottles in the backseat with him. "It's a minor leak. Very minor."

We were going to Shiprock, New Mexico to get Kira back the next morning.

I was reading a book. "I think the Jeep's overheating again."

"Probably," Stiles told us.

"Should we pull over and put more anti-freeze in it?" Scott asked.

Stiles sighed. "No, we can just turn the heat on."

Stiles turned the heat on.

We opened the windows.

Scott looked at me. "You find anything yet?"

"They're mostly the same stuff Stiles already knew," I told them. I read from the book. "'Damnatio Memoriae was a Roman practice, a government decree to destroy the images of the damned. And they would scratch off their names from inscriptions, chisel their faces off of statues. The Romans believed it was a punishment worse than death'."

Scott nodded. "Being forgotten."

"Listen to this," I told them. "'Damnatio Memoriae was later used on a serial killer in 1598 known as the demon tailor. He lured children into his shop in Paris where he would kill them and boil the flesh off their bones to eat. The courts believed the crimes so horrible, they ordered all documents destroyed. To this day, no one knows his real name.'"

"So, the dread doctors resurrected a killer who was so bad that he had to literally be erased from history," Stiles told us.

"A killer that became a werewolf," Scott told us.

"Which probably made him a better killer," I told them.

"That's great," Stiles told us sarcastically.

We drove faster down the road.

Now, I was driving to give Stiles a break, who was now in the passenger seat.

"You still not talking to Malia?" Scott asked.
