Stiles had gone to tell Deaton about what Melissa and Lydia had found out about Mason.

I was still in the Sheriff's station.

A man was talking to Clarke.

"Who did you say you were looking for?" Clarke asked.

The man had a thick French accent. "The man's name is Argent."

I walked closer. "Did you say Argent?" The man walked toward me. My phone was going off. "Sorry. My brother likes to leave incredibly long and incredibly confusing messages. Maybe I should just turn the damn thing..." The text said that Mason was gone. That Sebastian Valet had taken over. And I had a pretty good idea that the French guy in front of me was Sebastian. I put my phone down, walking around the desk to stand next to my bag on the other side, reaching inside. "So... my dad's not here, and he's the Sheriff. He had to go see a nurse about a kid. But he'll be back real soon. You're looking for one of the Argents?"

Sebastian closed his eyes as if he was remembering. "Stacie." I looked at him in confusion, guarded. Sebastian opened his eyes. "Your name is Stacie."

"You know who I am," I told him.

"Just like you know who am I," Sebastian told me. I tilted my head. "That means you know what I'm capable of."

"I've got some experience," I told him.

"Your weapons may be more sophisticated than the arrows and the bullets of my time, but they still won't kill me," Sebastian told me.

I took out my gun, cocking it, hiding it behind the table and having it aimed at him so Clarke wouldn't see. "I'm pretty sure a nine millimeter Beretta will do more damage than an 18th century musket."

Sebastian smirked in amusement. "Are you certain? I can walk out of this place with my hands clean. Or, I can walk out with them drenched in blood. Your choice."

I slowly put the gun down.

Clarke saw, standing. "Stacie?"

"Clarke, don't," I told her.

Clarke held her hand ready on her gun, looking at Sebastian. "Stop where you are."

Clarke's eyes glowed white. His fangs set in.

Clarke was in shock.

I looked at Clarke worriedly. "Let him go." Clarke drew her gun, aiming at Sebastian. Sebastian lunged for Clarke, growling. "No!"

Clarke started firing at Sebastian.

Sebastian lunged toward her.

I picked up my gun, firing at Sebastian, spinning to kick him in the head, making him back away from Clarke. Sebastian slashed toward me. I ducked, kicking him in the leg, firing more bullets into him. Sebastian slashed into my wrist, gripping my throat, picking me up, throwing me into the wall, making me fall.

Hayden and Lydia walked in.

Sebastian lunged at Lydia, growling, stabbing her in the throat with his claws.

I stood, picking up one of my knives from my bag, stabbing Sebastian in the back, making him let go of Lydia before he could slash her throat completely open.

Sebastian growled in pain, turning to slash into my arm and side.

Lydia screamed in pain and anger, using her voice as a weapon and throwing Sebastian away from me into the wall, making him fall. She fell to her knees, holding her throat as blood spilled from her wound over her hands.

I looked at her worriedly. "Lydia!"

Sebastian stood. "Hayden. Your name is Hayden."

Sebastian lunged at Hayden, raising his arm to slash into her, growling.
