Chapter 3

Cody FanFic

Jessica's POV:

It has been two weeks since the accident, and I am home now. Or what will not be my home anymore. Dad has not been the same as he used to. He thinks I caused the crash. He blames ME for mom and John dying. How could he??!?

I finished packing the last box on the car and hopped in the front seat. "Do we real-" I started to ask dad but he cut me off. "Yes. Now shut up and don't talk for the rest of the ride!" He yells and pulls out of the driveway.

After about 6 hours of driving, da-Jacob pulls into another driveway of what I'm guessing is our new house. "Get out and bring in all of the boxes. Now!" I unbuckle the belt. "Are you going to help?" I ask him. He turns to look at me then smacks me across the face. "No I will not help! I told you to do it! I'm tired because I drove for 6 and a glad hours! You carry in all the boxes you little brat!" He screams. A tear starts to roll down my cheek. "Yes sir." I whisper. He gets out of the car mumbling something. I hop out and look at all the neighbors houses.

I'm almost doe with the boxes. About halfway there. Keep going.

Madeline's POV:

It's around 1:00 pm and I am on my normal walk/jog. I notice that it looks like someone is moving into the house in the middle of the street. I see a teenaged girl walking to the back of the car and grabbing a box to take it inside. She might go to school tomorrow. Yay! Fresh meat! Haha! She would be the PERFECT target for me and my friends.

Cody's POV:

"I don't want to, Alli!" I say to my sister. "Come on, Codes! Please! It will be so much fun!" She pleads. "NO!" I yell. Mum comes in the room. "What are you two fighting about now?" She says rolling her eyes. "Alli wants me to go to this stupid carnival thing and I don't want to." I tell her. "You should go! It sounds fun." Mum looks at me with the you-better-go-or-you're-grounded-face. "Please Cody!?" Alli asks again and wraps her arms around my neck. "Fine. But you're buying my ticket." I say. "DONE! Thanks Codes! You're the BEST!!" She says and runs upstairs to add me to the list of people she is bringing. "Why didn't you want to go?" Mum questions. "Because I didn't have anyone to go with. Jake is out of town visiting family. Campbell is grounded, and I don't want to be stuck there alone following a bunch of Alli's friends around." I complained. "Hey! Why don't you ask a girl to go with you. Like on a date?" She says. "All the girls at my school either have a boyfriend, don't like me, they don't want a boyfriend, or they are a lesbian." "Well, you should attests ask someone." She says with a sympathetic smile. "I don't know. I got to go do my homework. See ya later. Love you, Mum." "Love you too, Pumpkin."
