Jessica's POV:
School starts today, for me at least. I am so nervous. What is everyone like? Will they like me? "Who cares if the like you? You won't have friends anyway. You're the girl who killed her mum and brother." My dad says. I SAY THAT OUT LOUD?!? "I didn't kill them! We got in a wreck and that killed them." I say to my dad. "Shut up! You caused that crash! YOU killed your mum and John! ITS YOUR FAULT THEY ARE DEAD YOU LITTLE BITCH!" He screams at me then smacks me in the arm. Tears start streaming down my face and I am going to get bruised later. "I'm leaving." I say as I storm out the door! "It's not my fault! They were fighting!" I start running so he doesn't catch me. My school bag keeps hitting my back. It's not helping me go faster at all. I just want to get out of that house.
------------At school------------
I am walking up the sidewalk at the front of the building. There are a lot of people here. I don't know if I'll be able to find my way around. When I am halfway to the door my phone buzzes. I pull it out and see a message from Dad.
From Dad: I'm going out to a friends for a few days. So you will be at the house by yourself. I can't stand to be around you for a while. Your key is in the flower pot by the door.
I slide my phone into my back pocket and open the door to the front office. "Hi! How can I help you, Sweetheart?" The lady behind the desk asked me. She had short blonde hair and she was a little round. "Uh. I just moved here and I uh, need to enroll. I guess." I say quietly. Trying to hide my bad mood the best I could. "Oh! You must be Jessica Melvin! Your dad called yesterday and gave us all the stuff we needed to know. Here's your schedule." She says digging through a pile of papers on her desk. "Ah ha!" She exclaims handing me my schedule as she walks around the desk. "Will you please follow me. I'll get someone to show you to your classes." "Yeah. Sure." I say following her out the door of the office. "Um." She says to herself looking at the kids passing in the hallway. "Cody! Come here please!" A tall, muscular, blonde boy turns to look at us then walks over here. "Yes Ms. Becky?" He asks very politely. "Cody, this is Jessica. She is new here ad I was wondering if you would show her around the school and to her classes. I'll give you a pass for tardies and to leave early if you need me to." She says to him. "Hi Jessica." He says with a smile. OMG! His smile is. Is. Perfect! "Hi." I say a little louder than I have talked the whole time I have been here.
Cody's POV:
"Hi." Jessica says quiet. Her voice is amazing. I could listen to it all day. And she is beautiful! I could just, look at her all day and...WOW! I smile at her again an turn back to Ms. Becky. "That won't be necessary Ms. Becky. I think I can handle it." "Alright then. Thanks again Cody! Have a great day Jessica." She says before walking back into the office. I turn to look at her. "Can I see your schedule?" I ask her. "Yeah. Here you go." She hands me the blue paper with her classes on it. I look over it and we have all the same classes. Even swimming and music! My two favorites! They are going to be even better now! "Oh! We have all the same classes. What a coincidence." I say laughing a little. She gives me a half smile. I can tell something's wrong. "Every thing OK?" I say handing back the schedule. "Yeah. I'm fine! I just...I am still a little stressed about my move here." "I understand. Why did you move here? Just wondering." "Uh.." She pauses. "Family reasons." She gets tensed up really fast after that. "Oh. Ok. So? You a swimmer?" I ask. Just to make small talk you know? "Yeah, I guess. I am a really good soccer player but my dad says you have no teams around here and I like to be involved and swimming is my next best sport." She tells me. "Oh cool. I love swimming have ever since I was little." I say. "Here we are! First Block. Geometry with Mr. Waker. Don't worry. He's cool. If you don't give him a hard time he won't give you one." I say and I open the door gesturing for her to walk in first. "Thanks." She says and this time she smiles a tiny, but real smile. Yes!

Thanks for reading guys! Sorry again for not updating fast. A few reasons for that:
1) I am a slow writer/typer
2) School is stupid and takes up 8 hours of my life-_-
3) Dumb teachers give out homework on top of me having stupid band practice(marching season is OVER so I have more time now)
4) Did I mention that I type really slow? And I write this on my phone so I have a LOT of errors I have to go through and fix.
Anyways! So yeah! Starting to write next chapter now! So bye!! xoxo ~K
