Chapter 11

Jessica's POV:

I wake up on Cody's chest. My cheeks are stuff because of the dried tears on them. I pull out my phone to read 7:00 pm on the clock. "Cody." I say shaking him a little. "Hmmm." He mumbles. "I think it's time for dinner. Let's go down stairs and check." I say as I tug on his arm trying to get him up. He mumbles something again but I can't tell what it was. I stop tugging and walk to the other end of the room. I run and jump on the bed scaring Cody. I laugh so hard.

"Hey! I was sleeping!" He smiles at me. "I know. But I wanted to wake you up. Let's go down stairs." I say and we walk out of his room. When we get to the stairs, we see Alli and about 5 other girls. "Cody!" A really pretty blonde girl and a redhead say as they run up and hug him. I look away trying not to look jealous. "Hey girls. This is Jessica," Cody says, "Jessica, this is Gigi and Bella." He pointed to the blonde then the redhead. She's more of a ginger but that's mean. I laugh to myself. "Hi." I say. "Hey." Bella says. Gigi just turns and sits back down with the rest of the girls, Bella not far behind. "Hey, this is Ruby, Sophie, and Madeline." Madeline. I have heard that name before. I heard some girls at school talking about how she had sex with some guy named Johnny in exchange for drugs. I also heard she is rude to almost everyone. I wonder why she's hanging out with Alli. She looks like the type that would do that stuff. She has brunet cut in that 'emo style' with two piercings on her left ear and piercings going all up her right ear. She wears her eyeliner dark but still pretty, a black tank too that shows of her skinny stomach with her belly ring, and dark denim booty shorts. I smile. Sophie and Ruby return the smile, but Madeline rolls her eyes and turns her attention back to the tv.

"Mom said you could invite some of the guys over if you want. We're about to start a movie and order pizza. Want to join us?" Alli says. "Sure. We'd love to," Cody answers then turns to me, "Would you mind if I ask a few guys over? I'll still hang with you." He asks me ever so nicely. "Go ahead. Won't bother me." I laugh.

Once Cody's friends, Jake, Campbell, and Josh, all came and we have been introduced, Alli takes votes on pizza toppings. Cheese is a winner along with pineapple and ham--yum!--and she calls in the order. Cody and I cuddle on the couch and I guess she was trying to make Cody or somebody jealous, but Gigi decided to cuddle with Jake.

Tonight is so perfect. Cody's friends are all so nice. I have a bad feeling about some of Alli's 'friends' though.
