Hot Best Friend

Chapter 3

Grant's POV-

Exactly one month ago my baby girl turned four the years have flown by from her first words to her first steps and now she can finally walk without any help my girls are both growing up so fast and now by baby girl is obsessed with baseball and that's all she wants to do and anything that has to do with baseball she wants.  I really like how she likes baseball because that was my favorite sport in high school and still is to this day is my favorite sport.  The only reason she likes it so much is because Caleb started playing two years ago when he was three and she likes doing whatever he does since they are so attached to the hip. She loves going to watch his games I think it's cute how much they do together

"Daddy" I hear my daughter say walking over to me with a little baseball and a small mitt on her left hand

"You want me to throw it to you?" I ask her and she nods throwing me the ball it's only a squishy ball so no one gets hurt.  I toss the ball to her gently and she catches it she's been getting really good at throwing and catching since we have been doing this for a year now. I throw it to her for about 30 minutes while thinking about the years with Olivia and Emily.  Ever since Olivia's first birthday when Caleb gave Olivia her purple bear and she took her first steps to him they became even more attached then they were before that.  She takes that bear every where she goes and she doesn't go to sleep without it. Every day Caleb and Olivia are always hanging out either playing baseball or playing something else they do everything together it's impossible to take the other away from the other for a long period of time. 

"Honey it's already 2:00 we have to be there at 3:00" Liz says to me she's talking about Caleb's baseball game we go to everyone of them and Olivia gets so happy to watch him play.

"Okay I'll get Olivia ready can you make sure Emily gets ready?" I ask her since Emily is already 10 and doesn't think she needs help at times

"Yeah and I'll get the drinks ready too" she says walking into the kitchen after telling Emily to go change for the game then kissing me

"Eww that's gross daddy" Olivia says about me and her mommy kissing I just laugh and pick her up

" ready to go see Caleb play baseball?" I ask her and her eyes light up

"Taleb?" She questions me and I nod laughing at how she still calls him Taleb even know she can say her c's

"Yeah you ready to get dressed?" I ask her she nods as I pull out a purple and white jersey that says Caleb's team name on it the Tigers  it has his number 7 on the back but our last name cooper on the back instead of Walker we made Olivia her own jersey so she could be matching with Caleb and I also pull out a pair of jean shorts and some sandals for her to wear to the game after I help her dress she grabs her bear that's only 4-5 inches shorter than her

" ready to get in the car baby" I ask her holding her hand so she doesn't fall down the stairs

"Yep" she says as we reach the bottom of the steps

"I'm getting in the car with Olivia" I say to Liz and Emily when passing the kitchen when we get outside I open the trunk of the mini van and put three chairs in the car since Olivia normally sits on my lap or on the ground with her bear

"Get in the car baby I'll buckle you up" I say to Olivia and as I'm buckling her up I see Emily and Liz come out with a cooler and look to see what Emily is wearing to see a pretty purple dress I get in the car and wait for them to get in the car to get ready to leave

15 minutes later

It's was  2:50 when we got to the baseball field Olivia was super excited and was bouncing in her seat to go watch Caleb play baseball when we got here we wen to go put the kids down next to Annie who is five and Joshua who is eight and sat next to their parents and let the kids sit in front of us to keep a eye on them
