Just Jess -Ch 1

Jess Pov

I woke up to my alarm and got out of bed . After having a shower i straightened my hair and put on foundation , mascara and eyeliner. I then got dressed into a simple white shirt, green camo jacket , light blue ripped jeans and white sneaker/adidas shoes. I then headed down stairs to meet my boyfriend of 5 months , Matthew Espinosa, out the front of my house.

"Hey babe " he said gripping our hands together .

I smiled and we started to walk to school.When we arrived we sat at at our table with our best friends we have had since primary school , Jack , Selena , Sarai and Dylan. Everyone spoke to one another while I spoke to Sarai . 

" Someones staring " Sarai said motioning behind me . 

I looked over my shoulder only to see the schools bad boy Nash Grier starring right at me .

" Creepy" i said to Sarai before feeling Matts grip on my waist tighten .I looked at him confused .

" That Nash guy is bad news, stay away from him okay babe " Matt said to me .

The bell rang and we all went our separate ways to class . Except for me and Dylan . Dylan and I had the same home room for the first  2 classes.

We waked in and Dylan sat next to me at the back of the classroom . We spoke for a couple minutes before our teacher Mrs Tate walked over to us. Now Mrs Tate is scary , she Gives kids detentions if they dont know the answer to a question and she makes them pick gum off the bottom of the tables.

" Dylan go to the printing room and collect the load of worksheets i just printed off." she said lifting her glasses so they dont fall off her nose . 

"Y-yes Mrs Tate " Dylan said obviously scared.

A small giggle escaped my mouth and I instantly regretted it . Mrs raised her eye browls at me and walked away .

"Later Loser " Dylan said sarcastically before leaving for the printers room .

I was minding my own buisness when i someone interrupted my thoughts .

" Hey Jessica" i looked up to see Nash sitting across from me .

" Its Jess, Just Jess " i replied rudely .

" Well just Jess , what are you doing Friday night ?" he asked smirking .

I wiggled in my seat uncomfortably trying not to make eye contact with him .

" Uhm " i said clearing my throat .

" Im probably doing someone thing with my BOYFRIEND " I said making it clear I was taken .

" oh so im your boyfriend now am i ?" he said smirking even more.

" No Matthew Espinosa is " i replied .

" Really because you guys just seem like friends " he said looking confused . I ignored him and looked back down at my pen and paper .

" I think you just dont wanna go out with me , Dont lie to me " he said laughing before walking off .

Matt and i ARE a couple we just dont stick each others toungs down each others throats in the school hallway for everyone too see like Nash does with his little sluts. Nash is sucking on  a different girls face every week and its gross. 

Before i knew it the end of school bell rang. I walked out of the school and to Selena's  car . I usually walk home with Matt but I was too lazy today . I have been super tired all day and im not sure why , maybe im sick .

Selena walked to her car with Matt behind her .

" Hey you ready to leave ? " Selena asked while unlocking her car .

" yeah " i replied with a short answer  being to lazy to say anything else .Matt got in the back of the car ,  he  must have not wanted to wanna walk home alone .

" You didnt wanna walk home today? " Matt asked leaning forward . 

i just shook my head and Matt looked at me confused .

After Selena stopped out fronTof my house i waved goodbye and thanked her before leaving the car .I walked inside and went straight to bed .

 I woke up at 1am with my phone ringing .

" W-what ?" i said to myself . I answered my phone not checking who it was calling .

PHONE CALL   M=MATT     J=JESS

J-hmmm 

M-hey Jess , you alright ?

J- Yeah why you ask ?

M- You havent been replying to my texts and didnt want to walk home today and you sounds like you have been asleep .... you dont sleep until  like 4am."

J- I have just been tired

M- Well do you want me to come over in case your sick ,  your parents are still away for another month 

J- No its fine , thanks .

M- are you sure theres nothing else wrong .

J-yeah ,  uhm .... are we a couple? 

M- what are you taking about ?! of course we are . What makes you think we arnt ." Matt said getting a little worried 

J-nothing just something someone said to me .

M-who?

J- it doesnt matter , I have to go .night babe .Love you 

M- love you too sweet . See you tomorrow .
