Chapter Seven

Beyoncé sighed as she helped her twenty one year old sister into her home. She hadn't had to deal with a drunk person in a long time, and she really hated it. She could vividly remember cursing Shawn out for showing up to her home in her drunken state. Luckily, Solange hadn't had the urge to vomit, so Bey was actually praying that she wouldn't have to at all. She began removing Solange's clothing while putting her in the guest bed. She made sure to sit the garbage can near the bed, making sure that Solange knew that.
Bey let out a deep breath before leaving the room. She frowned at the knock on her door. No one was supposed to show up at her house, especially not at an hour like this. Bey immediately went look out the peephole and rolled her eyes harshly at Shawn standing behind her door.
She opened the door, but didn't say a word. Her face read confusion while his read guilt. "Are you drunk?" Bey asked immediately.
She was tired. The last thing she was going to do was babysit two drunk people. She couldn't handle it right now.
"No, I wanted to apologize. I know what you thou"
"What did I think?" Truthfully? Beyoncé was amused. She didn't think anything of what she saw at the club. She saw Shawn dancing with his ex wife. Nothing more, nothing less. She wasn't going to read into it deeply, because she didn't have a reason to. Shawn, at this point, wasn't someone that she could be with.
"You probably thought I was trying to get back with Christina."
Bey laughed softly. "Shawn, I don't care, sweetie. I don't think anything. I saw you in a club, looked, and kept it moving. Why you're standing at my door explaining yourself to me is beyond me. We're not together anymore, therefore you're free to do whatever you please just like I am. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like to get some rest before my sister decides to wake up. Goodnight."
"It's the easy for you, huh?" Shawn asked with a hint of amusement.
Bey thought about the question for a moment. She'd heard it before. "Actually, yes."
She closed and locked the door. She told him goodnight, it wasn't her fault that he insisted on remaining at her door. As she walked to her bedroom, she relieved herself of her attire. She was hoping and praying that Solange remained sleeping throughout the night.

"Are you coming back?" Beyoncé asked her little sister as she pulled into the airport's parking lot. It was finally Saturday, which meant that Solange was leaving. The two of them had enjoyed their time together.
They were just coming back from breakfast at Bey's favorite diner, which Solange loved. "Uh, duh. I can't get this drunk at home."
Bey laughed softly before shaking her head. "I hope you know that you won't be drunk every single day if you decide to come out here."
"Why notttt?"
"Because there's more to life to see than in a drunken state."
Solange couldn't help but roll her eyes at her older sister. She got out the car, making sure to grab her weekend bag from the backseat. Bey followed her inside the place.
"When are you coming back to Houston?" Solange asked her.
"I don't know. School is going to be starting school, and I have to prepare for that."
"And the baby."
"And the baby."
"Which should be here when?"
