Ziva drove home, her mind in a fog. Tony had kissed her. KISSED her! What did it mean? "Was I wrong to kiss him without knowing how either of us feel?" she thought to herself.

Tony slowly unlocked his apartment. He threw his jacket on the table, then sighed and ran both hands thru his hair. "what the heck dinozzio." he thoughf to himself. "why did you kiss her? Yes, you're in love with her and you have been since the moment you laid eyes on her, but c'mon!" he silently berated himself.

Ziva was laying curled up in bed, staring aimlessly at the walls trying to fall asleep when her phone rang. "David." she answered. It was Gibbs. "I need you now. Get here as soon as you can." he ordered. He hung up without waiting for a response.

Ziva's cheeks flushed with the thought of seeing Tony so soon. She was still extremely unsure about her emotions and the kiss especially. She quickly got out of bed, and changed. She grabbed her car keys and was walking towards the door when she passed a mirror she had hanging up. "you never wear any makeup." she thought to herself. "maybe try a little eyeshadow to accentuate your eyes." hesitantly she applied light natural eye makup. After she was done, she stepped back to look. Ziva was unaware of how beautiful she had looked before makeup, but with accentuating makeup her eyes were stunning.

The elevator dinged, and Ziva stepped through. It was 2:30 a.m. She walked to her desk. "I am here, Gibbs. What is the emergency?" she inquired. Gibbs glanced up at her then did a double take. "Zi, are you wearing makeup?" Ziva shyly nodded. Gibbs smiled slowly. "Did you have a gentleman caller when i asked you to come in? Im sorry, I didnt mean to..interrupt anything.

Ziva rapidly shook her head. "NO! i have no men in my life at all."

Gibbs looked skeptical but dropped it.

Ziva looked around. "Where are McGee aNd Tony?" she asked.

Gibbs answered," Mcgee didnt answer and Tony should be here any -"

the elevator dinged and Tony stepped out. " He didn't look very appreciative of being woken up to come in early to work. "WHAT," he griped, "was the HUGE emergency?!?"

Gibbs took out some folders. "Abby has been taken to a hospital for chemical poisoning. Not her fault, obviously, but one of the janitors in the past 8 months must have spilled some. It was a slow acting chemical so it could have been any kind." Ziva gasped. "oh no! will she be alright?" Gibbs nodded. "She'll be fine, but for the remainder of her stay, you and Tony will have to split her paperwork and computerwork down in the lab."

Gibbs had completely forgotten to keep am eye on the two. He had forgotten all about the sparks tht had been leaping back and forth. Now as he spoke, he remembered what he had previously seen. This would be a good chance to keep a closer eye on them.
