That day at work was the longest, not only in length, but also the wait for what was to come at night. As soon as Gibbs checked his watch and told everyone to go home, Tony and Ziva did not linger. McGee occupied Gibbs with a paperwork question, so Gibbs did not see the two enter the elevqtor together.

As soon as the elevator doors were closed and Tony had made sure to press the down arrow this time, he pushed Ziva against the wall and kissed her. "Dinner at my place?" he.murmered in between kisses. Ziva struggled to answer; she did not want their lips separated long enough to talk. "Mm only dinner?" she whispered with a conspiritorial smile. Tony continued holding her. He hurriedly pressed the door close button when the elevator reached the bottom. He didnt want to let go of her. After pushing the close button several times, Ziva finally pulled away. "Tony, we need to have some sense. We cannot stay in here all night." Reluctantly, Dinnozio murmured agreement. "Dinner at my place, Miss David...don't be late." Ziva blushed bright pink.

He allowed to elevator doors to open as he stepped away from Ziva. He didnt realize the top button of his shirt was undone and his tie and neatly styled hair were now all over the place, his jacket hung crooked.

Ziva walked towards her car. "Tony, is it all right if..I stop to grab a few things at my own house? I do not want to wear my work clothes." Tony was surprised; Ziva always dressed very nicely for work. But he hid his surprise and nodded. "Of course, Ziva. Whatever you need."

Ziva broke all the speed limits getting to her home. She ran inside and changed into a little black dress and kitten heels that normally did not leave her closet.

She slowed her car once she neared Tony's apartment. She wasn't nervous or scared, but she had never done anything like this in her life.

"Tony is your friend," she reminded herself. "He would not make you do anything you did not want to." She stepped out of her car and walked up to the door. She took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.
