Ziva and Tony quietly walked towards the elevator. Ziva stepped silently in and stood as far into the corner of the elevator as she could. The door slid shut. Tony had been avoiding her eyes, not sure if she was upset with him, but he took a chance. glanced at her and almost choked. Her eyes! He couldnt remember feeling more pulled towards something than he did right now.

"Ziva?" he ventured. Ziva kept her eyes on the floor. "Yes Tony?" He awkwardly cleared his throat. "Your eyes are..beautiful." Ziva's cheeks flushed as she looked up at him. "What?!" she asked. Of all the things she had been expecting him to say, that was not one of them. She had been expexting him to say the kiss was a mistake, that he wished he never touched her.

Tony looked at her. "Ziva, I realized that my feelings are stronger than I thought they were. I thought I was alright just being your work partner, but I'm not ok. I can't think straight, I can't see right when you are near me..."

Ziva swallowed in shock. She felt terrified of telling him she felt the same way, but she knew she had to. "Tony, I--" the elevator door opened wide and Gibbs glared at them. Tony realized he had never pushed the down arrow and the elevator had been sitting there!
