chap 15!

Mcgee stepped into the lab. "Guys?" he called. "You down here?" McGee peered around the tall box he was.carrying as Tony came through the sliding door out of the back room. Mcgee looked at him suspiciously. "What were you doing back there, tony? Where's Ziva? Theres no paperwork back there.."

Ziva came through the doors nervously. Tony didn't say anything or try to answer, he just stared awkwardly at the ground.

But, poor Mcgee was oblivious. "You guys were trying to eat Abby's lab snacks!!!" he accused.

Tony's head snapped up. "Yes! thats..thats exactly what Ziva and I were trying to do. You won't tell Abby, right probie?"

Mcgee scowled. He still had a teeny crush on Abby, and didn't realize the others knew about it. "Tony, get out of her food. she's sick in the hospital, for God's sake, and you're stealing her food. Grow up!"

Ziva looked relieved. She had been so alarmed that it might have been Gibbs!

She took the boxes from McGee and set them down. "Is there anything else Mcgee? We really do have alot of paperwork to be checking , so.."she said pointedly. Mcgee slowly began leaving the lab but still looked puzzled. To him it didn't look like they'd even started the paperwork.

He shrugged. Their problem not his, after all..

As soon as Tony and Ziva heard the elevator whirr into action, Ziva grabbed Tony. "Where was I?" she purred. Tony's breathing accelerated. He leaned slowly at first, then quickly started kissing her. The slow kiss quickly turned into a heated, passionate kiss that had Ziva up against a wall with her arms desperately trying to hold Tony tighter.

After several minutes, Tony could not catch his breath. He held her face gently and looked in her beautiful eyes. "Ziva..go out with me tonight. On a real date, to a real restuarant. Dress up fancy." Ziva's eyes widened. Tony reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet. He pulled out his credit card and handed it to her. Ziva looked at him, confused. "On your break, go buy yourself something fancy. Something..red." he explained mischievously. "And grab some heels, too." he added.

Ziva's heart filled with wonder; she could not believe how special he was. The two knew they eventually would have to explain what was taking so long so they did finish the paperwork..in between playful comments and kisses.

Dinnozio followed Ziva up the stairs. As they came near to the top, they would have to walk separately, so he whispered in her ear, "I'll pick you up at 8 tonight, Zi.."

Ziva's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't wait to spend more time with this man. He was more than her dreams come true.
