There was something I noticed about him. It was like his very own presence seemed to pull me in. My lust for him was out of this world. I wanted him. I just hoped he stopped using me like a toy and looked at me seriously. Just once, I wanted something other than a just a troubled kiss.
It was Autumn and I was starting my Junior year of high school. I knew the school well enough and the teachers called out to me often, so my school life was average. I mean, it wasn't a good thing that you got called to the principals office for getting yet another tattoo, but this time, on my back. I got it there for a specific purpose: so the teachers wouldn't notice. Apparently, that didn't go quite as planned.
"When are you going to stop?" My best friend Ashlynn asked, interrupting me as I took a huge bite of my salad. I glanced up at her and frowned.
"Stop what? I'm on a diet, if you don't mind." I snarked. Ashlynn rolled her eyes and pointed at the small black spots on my wrist.
"I mean tattoos. Guys don't like girls who have ink all over their skin." Ashlynn scoffed. I rolled up my sleeves to show her wrong. All up on my arm was a jagged, wilting rose that reached down to my knuckles.
"I love tattoos. Unlike you and your preppy self, I want to express myself. This is the perfect way to do so."
Ashlynn sighed and glanced up at the doorway, her gaze layed hard onto a specific boy. I followed her gaze and also saw the boy. He had spikey sandy hair and he had black piercings on his lip and all over his earlobe. I gulped and blushed a little because all over his left arm were tattoos. Tribal pattern tattoos, intricate, geometrical designs, and unique, vintage tattoos. Just like me.
"Woah... That's hot." I said, which made Ashlynn glare at me with disgust.
"Ew, Dannie! You like him? Gross! He's like the bad boy down the street!" Ashlynn argued.
"I don't care. I love his style," I said getting up and walking over to the strange boy. "Hey!" I yelled, which caught the boys attention. He turn around and looked at me with warm, brown eyes. I blushed and clenched my fists to keep myself from bringing myself onto him.
"...Uh... I like your tattoos. You have some that I got." I said lifting up my sweater and showed him my right arm. It had a tribal pattern around my wrist and a smaller one around my index finger. Immediately, his face lit up.
"You ink? Where do you go? Do you have piercings too?" He asked so suddenly.
"Uh, I go to Purple Ink. I have a friend who works there. And yeah, I have tons of piercings," I said pulling my hair behind my ears and showed him an earful of piercings. "Wanna sit?"
"Sure. I finally found someone who has the same interests that I do. Honestly, I can't get used to being stared at everyday in class and getting stopped in the hallways by teachers." The boy said sitting down next to me.
"What's your name? I'm Ashlynn Tellian, but you can call me Ash." Ashlynn asked, butting her way into the conversation.
"My name is Jayden Lockser, but my friends call me Jay."
"Jay..." I thought dreamly. "That's a sexy name." I thought when Jay looked my way.
"What about you? I didn't get your name earlier." Jay asked, which snapped me back to reality.
"Hm? My name? Uh, its Dannie. Dannie Eliar."
