I walked the halls of Prince Alley high, skipping class to get to work. That is, when I saw him.

I passed Jay and we glanced at each other. I flashed him a quick smile as he did the same.

"You didn't tell me you were dating Trinity." I said, stopping in my tracks. It reassured me to hear Jay do the same.
"Yeah... who told you?" he asked when I shrugged.

"A little birdie told me." I smirked. Jay laughed and rolled his peircing into his mouth. No matter how long ago I broke up with Jay, I still secretly thought his lip pierce was the sexiest part about him.

"Skipping school, I see. Where to?" he asked. I jabbed a finger outside to Nick's car which was parked right on campus.

"I got a job! Funny right?" I laughed, but Jay didn't, which made me feel like a total dork.

"S'that your new boyfriend?" Jay asked. I looked out the window and saw Nick sitting in his car looking as flawless as ever. When I saw him or talked about him, it gave me a sense of pride to know that I was dating this total hottie.

"Yeah... it is." I smiled warmly. I shook off the thought and pushed open the metal doors. "Well, bye Jay. I'll see you soon." I said.

"Hey!" I said as Nick turns his head. Suddenly, his face turns pale and I didn't even know why. "Are you ready to g--" I said when a pair of hands wrapped around me, pulling me back.

"Dannie!" Jay screamed. I looked up at Nick desperately, shooting him a help me! look. I guess he got the message. Nick kicked his way out of his car and stormed my way with the most enraged expression I've ever seen him pull. I flinched when he raised a fist, but luckily, Jay let go before Nick could cuff him.

"I-- uh... I'm sorry. See you later, Dannie." Jay said, running back to school with a completely red face. When he was out of my sight, I turned back to Nick and tried to find the words to say.

"Nick, that wasn't--"

"I know, it's okay. I saw what he did... god, just looking at his face makes me so... urgh!" Nick tried not to swear. I smiled and held his hand. Nick exhaled deeply and kissed my forehead. "Don't apologize."

"I can't promise." I muttered. Nick pulled me closer and stroked my hair.

"It wasn't your fault."

"If it weren't me, you wouldn't have gotten mad. And you wouldn't have looked like a cherry tomato!" I laughed, pinching his cheek. Nick smiled sheepishly.

"He's jealous."

"Of us? I doubt it." Nick scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Well, it's common for an ex to be jealous of the girls new boyfriend and if that guy is you... I wouldn't blame him." I traced my finger on Nicks chest seductively. He smirked and carried me princess style towards his car. He plopped me down in the back seat and nibbled on my ear.

"You... are so hot right now." Nick said. I tugged at his hair and whispered into his ear.

"Wait until we get home." I spoke.

(Hey-lo y'all! So, kind of feeling down right now cause my grand daddy just died, but I cheered up when I wrote this! Also I missed a day of school cause I had an allergic creation to a face product.
