Troubled Kisses chapter 19

I sat in Nick's office, a strange silence drifted over us. I couldn't bear to look him in the eye as I lowered my head and slid him my test. I couldn't see his reaction and I was too scared to look anyways.

"Dannie?" Nick asked with a stern tone. I flinched. "You're... You're pregnant?" I bit my lip and felt a tear fall onto my lap.

"I'm sorry! If it wasn't for me and my careless self, I would have noticed that I was taking bad pills and it's my fault that I'm pregnant and--" I was cut off when Nick pulled me into a deep embrace.

"Its okay, you don't have to beat yourself over it." Nick said. I sniffed and looked up at him.

"You mean... you're not mad?" I asked. Nick laughed.

"Mad? Why would I be mad? I mean, sure I'm shocked and really taken back, but my girlfriend is pregnant. This is probably the best thing that's ever happened to me..." Nick said as his eyes started to water. I choked back a laugh and squeezed his hand.

"Why are you crying?" we leaned in for an Eskimo kiss and held it. "Thank you... for not dumping me like those whites on Teen Mom 3."

"You're too precious to give up." Nick said as he wiped a tear away from my cheek. "And Dannie?"

"Hmm?"

"Thank you for being in my life."

I leaned against Jay's locker with a smirk spread across my face. He gave me a puzzled face and laughed.

"What happened to you to give me that smile?" he asked. I shrugged and poked him in the stomach.

"Lets just say... I got a gift. A really special one."

"Let me guess--wait, no, I got this--you got a gift card to Victoria Secret." I slapped Jay playfully and we shared a laugh. "It was a good guess tho--"

"I'm pregnant, Jay. And I won't be coming to school. This week is my last week here." I said with a faraway look. Jay stared at me with his jaw on the floor. "You're going to catch flies, Jayden." I said sternly. He quickly closed his mouth and cleared his throat, but he had an uneasy expression.

"You mean... that guy? He knocked you up?"

"Hey, don't make me sound like a whore."

"Its true though, right? He's the one who..." Jay let his sentence hang. I bit my lip and nodded. "Wow... you went beyond going all the way. I didn't think it as possible." Jay said. I slapped him again as he laughed nervously. "So, are you going to tell Ashlynn?" I felt my mouth go dry and I stared at the space in front of me blankly. I haven't heard that name ever since we fought. Then I turned to Jay and strained a smile.

"Ashlynn who?"

God I know, a really short chapter. I've been to lazy to update, but I hope this makes up for it!! I might get my chapter back by tomorrow, but if I can't, please don't kill me!
