"Hey." Dior smiled, opening the door wider. "You haven't been around in some time."

"We don't go to the same school anymore."

"That'd be my fault, huh?"

Dior ran her fingers through her sleek brown hair.

"Did anything happen to your skin or something?"

Julie shook her head.

"I just... I really wonder. How could I have fallen in love with Alfred? I hated him up until your therapy."

"I just helped you come to terms with your real feelings, that's all."

Julie scrunched up her nose. "Your medicine did that?"

Dior tapped her chin a bit, humming. "Yeah, I'd say that. It helped clear your thoughts so you could stop deceiving yourself."

"Oh. That'd make sense."

She paused.

"Is there a problem, Jul?"

"What if Alfred's a homosexual."

"Huh?"

Julie scowled. "A homosexual. I highly think that."

"Well, if he's a homosexual, he's a homosexual."

"But that's wrong."

"Hey, if you like chocolate chip cookies, and I like peanut butter cookies, are you going to tell me what's wrong and what's right for me to like?"

"But cookies and people are different."

"So what? Does that mean people can't like what they like?"

Julie couldn't come up with a rebuttal.

"Dior, I suppose you're right."

Dior smiled, looping her arms around Julie. "Of course I am. Come back anytime if you have any trouble."

"Finally found you."

Matthew jumped, looking at the albino next to him.

"Gilbert!"

He had borrowed a phone at a nearby store, and he couldn't believe Gilbert could find him in less than ten minutes.

"I lost my phone," Matthew told Gilbert.

"I know. For some reason, it ended up in Francis' hands."

"Huh?"

"Yeah, he's sending it over by owl as we speak."

"Ah."

Gilbert handed him his jacket.

"You were probably walking around for a while in the rain. Here."

Matthew took it gratefully, a small smile on his lips.

"Thank you."
