-Present Time-

"Sorry for my tardiness, I was held back on my way here; did I miss anything?" Ginny gasped heavily, heaving open the door. Alfred blinked, obviously in the middle of giving a report.

"Oh. Hi, Ginny. As I was saying, according to Potter Watch, Harry has been spotted once since Bill and Fleur's wedding. We don't know his current whereabouts, but we're getting there," Alfred continued as Ginny took a seat between Luna and Neville.

Alfred had announced at the last meeting that he was joining Potter Watch in the newscasting of the Wizarding World, which caused Arthur at once to sign up to "keep an eye on him". Personally, Ginny felt he was just clingy. She held the coin that was a communication link between all of them tightly, sweat sticking to it. This was her connection to Harry; she didn't know if she meant the coin or the group of students here.

"Thank you, Alfred. Now, I say we begin an attack against the Death Eaters, since they are Voldemort's lackies. I think that as long as they have taken over Hogwarts, we give them payback and resist against their corruption. Any ideas to do that?" Arthur asked. Yao raised his hand. "Yao?"

"We attack them at their prime. Kiku and I have done some research, and there is a Dark object that the Death Eaters have in their possession. It is on top of 'Professor' Gendrof's wand. It is shaped inconspicuously as a normal eagle, but it is really a gem with hidden magical properties within it. It helps guarantee that the spell shot would not miss 75% of the time," Yao announced, standing up and pounding his hand onto the table.

"We must take it then," Ivan said and tilted his head.

Many nodded in agreement, and so that was the first task the renewed DA decided.

Ginny gripped her wand tightly, boarding the train. It was already her second year.

"Hey, Ginny!"

She looked around for the source of the voice. It was Alfred, waving. He had one hand stuck out the window, tightly gripping a handful of sweets. Next to him was Arthur, as expected. They were practically joined at the hip.

Arthur was reviewing simple Transfiguration spells, and there was no one else to be seen in that compartment. She waved back, heading towards their direction.

"You're coming to sit with us?" Alfred asked, surprised.

"I can leave, if you want."

Alfred paused. Then: "No, it's okay." He stood up, maneuvering around her awkwardly with a wide smile. "I'm a hero; what sort of person I'll be if I discriminate against underclassmen? I'm going to go find Mattie. I swear, if I find him with Gilbert..."

As Alfred walked darkly out with that ominous threat, she stared quizzically at Arthur.

"Gilbert?"

Arthur gave a forced smile. "German idiot; claims he's a descendant of the fallen empire of Prussia, when his own brother tells us they're from regular old Germany. Different personalities, them two." He glared darkly. "Very different."

Feeling like she stepped on a land mine, Ginny left it at that.

"I'm back with Mattie!" Alfred said when he returned, dragging his Canadian stepbrother by his robe sleeves.

"It's fine, I'll sit with-" Alfred cut him off with a glare.

"If you finish that sentence with 'Gilbert', I'll kill you!" he threatened, pushing the poor kid into the seat next to Arthur.

"What's the big deal?" Ginny asked, confused.

"He's mad at me because I became pen pals with Gilbert Beilshmidt over the summer," Matthew said quietly.

"Oh no, I'd be fine with that if you didn't talk about him at dinner all the time!" Alfred huffed. Ginny and Arthur laughed loudly.

"You don't mess with Alfred's dinner," Arthur snickered, doubling over and wheezing. He wrapped his arms around Alfred to inform him he was joking.

"So, Mattie and I were at a Muggle store and got a bunch of snacks for you to try!" Alfred grinned, changing the subject and searching through his bag. Matthew nodded, and Ginny noticed for the first time how alike they looked when they had identical childish grins.

"Doritos? Snickers? I've never heard of these brands!" Arthur and Ginny shouted, looking through the huge sack of snacks Alfred took out.

"That's because your blood is too pure. My favorite are the Canadian bacon flavored-" the lights suddenly flickered, and they all shivered; the temperature dropped!

"Stay calm!" Kiku shouted, running in with Yao behind him and closing the door.

"What happened?" Arthur asked.

"Well, it appears there are Dementors roaming the corridors," Kiku replied, wringing his hands together.

"It's unbelievable! In China, there were no horrific beasts like them!" Yao huffed.

"There were none in Japan, either," Kiku reminded him, taking a seat. Suddenly, the lights flickered back on. Yao, who was looking through the small window, reported, "Some guy in rags drove them back. Kiku, I think it's okay to go outside now."

They hurried back, in fear of the lights turning off again.

Ginny shivered; she was told horrendous stories about Dementors as a child to scare her to behave, but she still remembered them nonetheless.

As Yao and Kiku left, Alfred broke the ice by holding up his sack. "Right, so...I also have hamburger shaped gummies."

Ginny didn't want to eat anything anymore.
