I woke up and hopped out of bed. I did my daily routine. I put on a light blue bra and matching panties. I put on a black shirt and ripped jeans. I slipped on a pair of vans and put my hair in a french braid. I grabbed my things and walked downstairs. "Morning mom." I said sitting down. "Good Morning Gabrielle." She said. I smiled and started eating. If your wondering how the night with our father went it was horrible. Devin and I were just standing there at a cocktail party. A couple old geysers tried to have a conversation but all they talked about was money wine and golf.

"Morning mom, Morning doodoo head." Devin said walking into the dining room. "Morning.' My mom and I said. He sat down and started eating. "So I met someone." My mom blurted out. "Oh my gosh who?" I asked. "His name is Jim and he works at my job." She said. "That's great mom." I replied smiling. "When is the date?" Devin asked. "We have a lunch date today at two." She said. "Cool." He said. I finished eating and put my dishes in the sink. "Devin are you ready?" I asked. "Yeah." He said. He put his dishes in the sink then we hugged our mom.

"Have a good day." My mom said as we walked out. We got in my car and buckled up. "So who are you taking to prom?" I asked. "I have no idea." He said. "So like are you and Blake gonna go as single bachelors or something?" I asked. "Yeah you could say that." He said. I nodded and turned the radio on. Devin and I were best friends growing up. Like we did everything together. But now its different. There are boyfriends and girlfriends and sports are splitting us up very slowly. "Gabby stop dozing off and drive." Devin said. I cleared my thoughts and continued driving.

We pulled up at school and got out. I walked up to Arianna and Chloe and greeted them. "Hey Gabby." Arianna said. "Can you tumble?" Chloe asked. "Yes well I used to know how but I'm not sure if I can do it now or not." I said and she nodded. "There's my favorite girl." Vincent said. He kissed my cheek then grabbed my hand. "Can I steal her for a minute?" He asked. "Yup but you better bring her right back." Arianna said. I chuckled and Vincent pulled me over to his car. "So since we're like dating now you gotta chill with me at my car." He said playing with my fingers. "I don't have to." I said. "Yeah you do." He said. I rolled my eyes and he pulled me close.

"Give me a kiss." He said. I smiled and kissed him. We were cut off by Logan clearing his throat. I pulled away and turned around. "Hey guys." He said. "Hey Logan." I said. "Sup bro." Vincent said. Alex walked up and greeted us. She was wearing a really tight top and tight shorts. "Nice outfit." I said. "Thanks." She said. "I better get going." I said. I turned to Vincent and kissed him. "Have fun on your trip." I said. "Okay." He said. We kissed one last time then I walked away.

As soon as Gabby was in the school I sighed. The football team and a couple cheerleaders are taking a trip to the college's football game. Even though Gabby wasn't going I wish she was. Logan, Alex and I walked in school and went to the cafeteria. When we got there we sat with the team. "So Vincent how's your relationship?" Blake asked. "It's great thank you." I said. "It was better when he was with me though." Alex said. "Actually it wasn't." I said. "Swerve." Logan said then laughed. "Shut up." Alex snapped. "Don't be mad we've all been swerved before." I said chuckling. The cheerleading and football coach walked in.

"Is everyone ready to go?" The football asked. Everyone nodded and stood up. We walked out of the cafeteria and outside. "There's two buses fill up the first one then go to the second." He said. I was the first one on the bus so I went all the way to the back. I sat down and Alex and Chloe sat across from me. Logan and Arianna sat in front of me. Then Blake and Devin sat across from them. Everyone else filled in the seats and the other bus.

"Where is Gabrielle?" The cheer coach asked. "She decided to pass on this one." Alex said. "Oh ok." She said. The bus drive pulled off and I put my head back. "You ok Vinny?" Alex asked. "I'm fine Alex." I said. She is being really weird. Alex can be very mischievous and she'll do anything to get what she wants. "Guys let's play a game." Chloe said. "We could play ispy." Arianna said. On that note I took my earbuds out of my pocket and plugged them into my phone. I put the in my ear and turned my music all the way up.

I hate the cafeteria. Like there is nowhere for me to sit so I guess I'll sit in the auditorium. I walked in and sat beside a guy. "Hi I'm Gabby." I said. "Hey I'm Louis." He said. "Like the guy from one direction!" I said and he chuckled. "Are you new here?" I asked. "Yeah." He said. "Oh cool this is a great school." I said. "I bet it is." He said. "What's your next class?" I asked. "English." He said. "That's mine too!" I chirped. "Yes!" He smiled.

We started eating and I actually got to know him. "Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked. "Yeah I do, do you have a girlfriend?" I asked. "We broke up the day I moved here." He said. "Dang that's messed up." I said. "Yeah I know." He said. The bell rung and we threw our things away. We walked out and went to the English room. Once we got there we sat down. Students started to fill in then the teacher walked in and started class.

After class I got my things and walked to my car. "See you tomorrow Gabs." Louis said. "See ya." I said then got in my car. I buckled up and drove off. I turned on the radio and played Heathens by twenty on pilots. I pulled up at my house and got out. I walked in and went to my room. I took off my shoes an plopped on my beanbag chair. I grabbed my laptop and logged into Instagram. There are tons of pictures of the team touring the campus and at the football game. I'm glad everyone is having a good time. I closed my laptop and went downstairs. I got to the kitchen and made a grilled cheese sandwich.

I was about to eat when my phone buzzed.

Kalisto: Hey babe

Me: Hi honey

Kalisto: How was your day??

Me: Good, how's the trip?

Kalisto: Great but I got to go

Me: K bye

I locked my phone and started eating. I heard the door open and the sound of heels. "Gabby you home?" My mom asked. "In the kitchen." I said. She walked in and smiled. "How was your day?" I asked. "Good how was yours?" She replied. "Its was cool." I said then started coughing. She walked over and felt my head. "You're burning up." She said. "I think I'm coming down with something." I said. "You need rest and I need you to pick up Devin." She said then walked away.
