Thirty-one

I woke up and looked at the time. It's 5:30am. I never wake up this early. I mentally groaned and climbed out of bed. I slept horrible, I just kept tossing and turning. I walked downstairs and got yogurt. I sat down and started eating. I was sitting in darkness with my thoughts mentally drowning me. Why did you kiss back?

I finished the yougurt and threw it away. I put the spoon in the sink and walked back to my room. It's not right that my boyfriend may break up with me but Vincent is all cozy and snuggled with Alex. I sighed and climbed back in bed. I drifted back to sleep.

I woke up again and now its 2:30pm. I got out bed and got in the shower. I washed up and shaved. I got out and walked back my room. I put on my undergarments on then slipped on a black crop top and jean shorts. I slipped on my vans and grabbed my phone and some money. I'm going out to town. I walked out and called a cab. Seems like everyone went out without me.

I don't care I need some alone time. The cab came and I asked him to take me to town. He nodded and started driving. "This your first time here?" He asked. "No, I've been here a couple times when I was little." I said. "How old are you?" He asked. "I'm 17." I said. "Oh." He said.

We got to town and tried to pay. "No don't pay, you're going through hard times." He said. I smiled and thanked him. I got out and started walking around. I came across this clothing store and brought a couple dresses. I paid and left. I probably should feed myself.

I walked into a restaurant and got seated. I ordered my drink and looked at the menu. My phone started to ring and I pulled it out. I don't wanna be associated with anyone. I put my phone on airplane mode and contained looking for food.

After I ate I left and continued to walk around. I stopped and watched a couple girls play jump rope. "Wanna play with us?" A girl asked. "Sure." I smiled. I put my bag down and started jumping rope. "You're good." She smiled.

I finished and got to know the girls. There's Milan, Maria, Nina, and Lola. "Would you like to go to a pretty mountain?" Nina asked. "Uh sure." I said. "Follow us." Maria said. I nodded and grabbed my things. We started walking and they told me about the area.

I saw their school and home. We started walking up a dirt road. We spent about thirty minutes walking to this place. But once we got there it was totally worth it. The view was beautiful. You could see the whole town and the crystal blue water. "They saw if you kiss someone here at midnight, they're your true love." Milan said. "That's so cool." I smiled.

"Uh what time is it?" Lola asked. "4:39." I said. "We gotta go." Maria said. "Aw man." I said. "Can you meet us at the hair shop tomorrow?" She asked. "Definitely." I said. She smiled then they ran off. I stayed and took a couple pictures. It's peaceful up here. I got up and headed down the road. I got back to town and decided to explore more.

I love this island, everyone is so nice and the food is amazing. I completely forgot about everything that was going on. Unfortunately I need to get back to the house. I decided to walk back. The sun was starting to set and may people were setting up bonfires. I smiled and waved back at the people who waved at me.

I got back to the house and walked inside. Everyone probably went out to dinner. I walked upstairs and into my room. I sat down and took my phone off of airplane mode. I took the dresses out and hung them up. I grabbed a towel and got in the shower. I washed up then got out. I walked back to my room and put on clothes.

I sat in bed and plugged in my ear buds. I played my music and stared at the ceiling. I hope he doesn't break up with me. But you never know what's going through a person's mind. I took my ear buds out and heard people walk in. They sounded like they had a great time. My door opened and Louis walked in. We made eye contact then he went to go get a change of clothes. We walked out without saying a word. I sighed and buried my face in my pillow.

"Gabby honey." My mom said. I looked at her the sat up. "I love how you guys left me." I said. "Vincent said you were feeling under the weather." She said. "I feel fine." I said. "Oh well I'm sorry." She sighed. "Mom, I wanna go home." I said. "We still have four days left." She said.

"No, I wanna leave now." I said. "Well you can't go by yourself." She said. "I know." I said. "Why do you wanna go?" She asked. "It isn't fun anymore." I said. "Aw sweetie." She said. "Mom I'm serious." I sighed. "Gabby it'll be okay." She said then walked out.

"Thanks for the pep talk." I mumbled. The only reason I wanted to come was to have a good time and be with Louis. But literally its been so much tension and now that Louis is not talking to me I have no reason to be here. They can have a good time without me, that's what they did today. I turned into a drama magnet. Maybe I'm being hard on myself. No, I wanna go home. I grabbed my suitcases and started packing my things. I'll leave first thing in the morning. I finished packing and went to bed.
