My Best Friend's Boyfriend

Thirty.

We got to the pier and got out. Louis grabbed my hand and we walked to the boat. "Welcome guest." A man said. "Hello." Everyone said. He gave instructions and told us what not to do. We boarded the boat and the captain steered the boat away from shore. The nerves are starting to kick in. Once we got far enough they started pairing. I got paired with Vincent.

I looked at Louis who was paired with Meghan and he looked at Vincent. "If he tries anything tell me." He said. I nodded and him and Meghan walked to the edge of the boat. The got on and it started to rise. I looked up at them and smiled. It looks so cool. After five minutes they came back on the boat. "Its so cool up there." Louis said. "Gabby and Vincent." The man said. Shoot. We stood up and got strapped in.

We started to ascend and I got scared. "You nervous?" Vincent asked. "Yeah." I said. "It'll be okay. He said and I smiled. I looked down as we got higher and my chest started to feel tight. My breaths got shorter. Am I having a panic attack?  We stayed up there for what seems like forever the slowly came down. Once we got to the boat I walked over to Louis and buried my face in his chest. "I never wanna do that again." I said. "Awe." He said. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.

Its now lunch time and we decided to stay in for the rest of the day. Louis and I are in our room eating chicken nuggets and fries. We finished eating and climbed in bed. I climbed on him and started to kiss him. He kissed back and gripped my waist. We pulled away and I laid beside him. "Louis you make me really happy." I said. "You do the same to me." He smiled. I smiled and put my head on his chest.

Once Louis fell asleep I decided to go to the pool. I slipped on my bathing suit and went outside. I sat down and put my feet in the water. Devin, Blake, Meghan, and Arianna walked out and got in the pool. "Where's Louis?" Blake asked. "Sleeping." I said. "Oh." He said. I got all the way in and we started playing Marco Polo. It was really fun.

Vincent and Alex walked along with my cousins. They got in and we had to stop playing because of Alex. Honestly why is she here? She doesn't do any of the activities and just sits around talking about everyone. Like go home. "Gabby are you coming to beach?" Devin asked. "I'll be there in a minute." I said. He nodded and everyone except Vincent left. "How did you like parasailing?" I asked. "It was fun." He said.

"I agree, but it would've been better for me if I didn't have a fear of heights." I said and he chuckled. "You do more things so you can get over that fear." He said. "You're right." I said. "When am I wrong?" He asked. "All the time." I said. "More like never." He smirked. "Uh cocky much?" I asked and he chuckled.

"You know just because we're not together doesn't mean we have to hate each other." He said. "You're right." I smiled. I mean I hate having bad blood with people. On this trip our families will get to know each other so we'll gonna be around each other a lot. He smiled at me and I did the same. He came closer and I scooted back. What he's doing?

He smashed his lips onto mine and I stood there, I think I kissed back a little. I was in shock. I pulled away then stared at him. "What were you thinking?" I asked. "I-im sorry." He stuttered. I got out of the pool and practically ran to the beach. I need to stay as far away from him as possible. I got to everyone and started playing around. "Where's Vincent?" Alex asked.  "I think he's still in the pool." I said. She nodded and I continued playing.

We got back to the house and I got in the shower. I washed up and washed my hair. I got out, wrapped the towel around me then walked to my room. I got dressed and threw my hair in a bun. I slipped on a pair of socks and walked downstairs. I didn't see Louis so I headed to the basement. I need to tell him about what happened with Vincent. I got to the basement and saw him on his phone.

"Hey baby." I said sitting next to him. He looked at me then looked back at his phone. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing." He said. "What did I do?" I asked. "Nothing." He said. "Obviously, I did because you have a tone." I said. "No, I don't." He said. "Yes, you do now tell me what's wrong." I said. "Why don't you ask Vincent." He said. Oh shoot. "It's not what you think it is Louis." I said. "Well what is it?" He asked. "Everyone was in the pool, then they decided to go to the beach but I wanted to stay in the pool and so did Vincent." I said. "We started out having a friendly conversation then he ended up kissing me." I asked.

"Did you kiss him back?" He asked. "Yeah, but for a split second." I said. He just looked at me and nodded. "Louis I'm sorry." I sighed. "Do you still have feelings for him?" He asked. "Um, I don't know, I'm confused now." I mumbled but loud enough so he can hear me. I looked him and is facial expression was mad and sad. He got up and walked away from me. I'm so stupid. I basically just ruined the best relationship I've ever had. I really need to sort things out.
