My Sociology and Criminolgy classes went straight over my head as I couldn't stop thinking about the boy who I saw in the small space between the buildings. I swear I could never mistake those bright green eyes for another. But would he have not recognized me? I havent changed that much. I still look the same and have same long blonde hair I sported when I was younger, just a bit more darker and thicker. He couldnt have forgotten. I was 9 when I left and we had spent everyday together since I can remember...
"Hey you're Jamie right?" I hear a chirpy voice from behind me say.
I turn to face a pretty young girl, probably the same age as me with chestnut brown hair and dark brown eyes.
"Yeah" I smile at her.
"Im Lauren. I was in your group at the start" she smiles very innocently.
"Oh yeah right! That awkward 'Get to know one another' activity" I cringe.
"Yes!" she agrees mimicking my facials of disapproval. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy the 'bonding' with your classmates session except for Lauren and I which we had a short discussion about once class continued.
"Are you on a break now or.." she questions.
"Umm yeah I was going to go get some lunch before my next class" I say mentally exmaining her. She seems sweet. A bit smaller then me, almost fragile looking but her bright smile makes up for it which only adds to her beautiful natural looks.
"You going to the cafeteria?"
"Yeah I guess" unsure of where I was actually going to go.
"I'm going that way so I can show you if you want?" she asks politely.
"That'll be great" I smile and she leads the way. Thanks god cause lord knows I'll probably end up getting lost again and interuppting another couple. Or Harry....?
We take a seat with 2 other girls who call Lauren over once we enter the cafateria. Their names are Katy and Sam. They're are a little bit different to Lauren, not that I've known her long but they sure talk a lot more than she does. Katy has light violet almost white hair tied up in a high pony tail and Sam has platinum blonde hair just covering her shoulders. They're very interested to know where I come from but I just give them short simple answers about moving from Canada because of the University etc. Even though its really because I wanted to give my Uncle some space with his girlfriend as well as the fact that I missed my brother.
"Oh my god there he is" Katy gushes, resting her chin on her hands.
"Who?" I ask looking around then back to Lauren.
"Tyler Christianson" Lauren smiles and looks up at him obviously walking past. I almost spit out my food. All three girls quickly turn, surprised at my outburst.
"Sorry" I mutter trying not to laugh.
"Have you even seen him? He's georgeous." Sam comments, "Dont you think?"
I look behind me to see my brother walking towards a group of boys all sitting around a small table. I quickly turn away just as he sees me and I almost burst out laughing again just watching him as I know exactly how he really is. He always got this type of attention from girls but its weird to hear it first hand.
"His gold hair, perfect smile, deep blue eyes, and not to mention his clothing attire. My lord the things I would.... Oh my god he's walking this way." Katy almost starts to panic.
"Hey Jamie" he says and comes a sits down next to me.
I look up at Katy and Sam and their faces are in absolute shock. Mouths open gaping at my brother and I. Lauren on the other hand seems completely un phased as she is looking at the other two almost laughing just as I am.
