EXCLUSIVE: One Direction Has a Lot of "Little White Lies"!
One Direction? More like One Scandal!
The quintet-boyband have been hiding things, and it has to do with one of their ex-girls. Carter Riley, 19 (pictured above), is an ex of Liam Payne, apparently. An insider has told us some juicy gossip - she wasn't really his girlfriend at all!
"It started back in October," our insider reports. "Carter and Liam met after the band stole her song. They decided to use her as a ghostwriter and pretended to be dating to help cover it up."
You heard it here first, folks! Those songs you always jammed to weren't written by the boys at all; they come from a teenage girl with more writing talent they could ever possess!
Not only did One Direction rip her off, they gave her money - which she gladly took - to keep her quiet and ended up abandoning her. This must've been much of a shock to Carter! These boys who we thought were sweet, kind gentleman turn out to be a**holes? Wow!
"They suddenly stopped answering calls, and she wasn't allowed to see them," says another insider. "She was falling fast for Liam and he treated her like sh*t. These boys are taking everything for granted, and they need to be exposed for everything they've done."
One Direction's team has declined to make a statement.
The morning after was one of the worst days of my life. I couldn't help Googling my name, searching myself on Twitter, and reading through my Instagram comments. My hands shook as I read every word; I couldn't believe this had gotten out. I couldn't believe that I could allow myself to be so stupid. I felt sick.
The number of times people called me nasty names, or started attacking Liam, or called me a gold digger were actually uncountable.
But I promised myself I had to fix all of this.
I slowly opened the door to my room and poked my head out to make sure no one was there. Once I was positive the coast was clear, I left my room and walked down the stairs.
"Dad?" I stuck my head in the kitchen. "Miranda?"
No one answered. I let out a sigh of relief and entered, opening the fridge to pour myself a glass of orange juice before taking a seat at the island.
I took a sip and my phone began to ring, halting me from looking up more articles which I was grateful for. I tapped the button to answer and held the device up to my ear.
"Hello?" I said in a groggy voice.
"Carter," Liam breathe. "Is everything okay? Are you alright?"
I tapped my fingers on the surface I was resting on. "Just dandy."
"Look Car, we're going to fix this," he continued. "There's a meeting with our PR team today. I want you to be there. We can clear everything up and it'll be alright. I swear to you."
"You don't have to worry about it, Liam," I sighed and rubbed my temple. "This isn't -"
There was a heavy knock at the door.
I raised an eyebrow. "Hold on," I said.
I got up from my seat, phone in hand, and sped over to the door. My eye caught sight of the person outside when I looked through the hole and my blood instantly ran cold.
"You have a lot of nerve coming here," I spat, knowing he could hear me.
"Listen, Carter, this is important!" Dominic looked and sounded frazzled as if he had just barely gotten to wake up before he drove out here. "Just let me in, please."
