Dear Dei,
Honestly? Yes, as soon as the plane landed, I turned my phone on and checked if you responded. Is it weird that I was a little bit disappointed when there wasn't any notif from you? (Clingy alert!)
I had a really loooooooong but fruitful day today so I guess I can treat myself to some downtime, and so I escape once again to this little app. It's a lot more cheery now since I have a proper penpal (that sounds so old school, huh?). I don't need to just have this one way thing with my inbox, reading but never responding. I'm actually feeling beat, but I want to write first before heading to bed. It lifts my spirit.
Anyway, well, I'm hiding from the outside world. Like you, I meet too many people in a day that it's hard to tell whether someone is friendly because they genuinely like me or it's just part of the 'meet'. Online though, if you hit it off great with someone, it's much more meaningful to develop it into something deeper because it won't be based on mere physical attraction. Frankly, I find it more sincere.
So, are you like an organizer or a secretary? I hope the person whose world you're "saving" is nice to you. I want to hear more about what you do. I'm in Singapore right now. What I do isn't important, though.
And your flirting is fine as it is. Not pushy, still friendly, very witty. I like witty people. I, however, might have lost my game. I could be the one coming off as "brooding". Oops.
Also, what my profile says is accurate. I really do need and want a "listening ear and a sincere heart". So, please indulge me? Write back soon.
Richard
PS: I actually checked a total of 3x before you finally wrote back.
