Lauren's Pov

Finally I'm home from the hospital Nate helped me sit on the couch. " You hungry " Nate asked " yeah that hospital food was terrible " I replied to him he just chuckled at my response " here you go I made you a sandwich and a smoothie " Nate said " thank you and is the smoothie doctors orders " I asked him " yeah and here's your medication I know you don't need it because of the whole vampire thing but you need it for the pain no buts Lauren " he replied placing a kiss on my head. Nate was kinda floating around the kitchen " Nate come here you okay, something bothering you? " I asked him. " No I'm not okay Lauren I can't live like this anymore " he replied " what do you mean you can't live like this anymore? " I asked him heartbreak clear in my voice. " I think we should take " I cut him off " no don't you dare say take a break Nate " I said to him tears falling down my face " if you weren't going to be with me for the long run then what was the point Nate " I yelled at him hitting his chest repeatedly. " I do love you Lauren so much words can't explain and it's not fair that the both of us are hurting so the only way to stop it is to stop being us baby girl I'm so sorry I love you " he replied kissing me one last time. " Nate no please don't go " I screamed as he walked out of my life I was now sitting on the floor sobbing my heart out I know life wasn't easy but I never thought Nate would ever leave me. I picked up my phone and called Jesse " hello " he said into the phone " hey can I come over I really need someone to talk to " I replied my voice breaking " yeah of course you okay? " he asked " I'll explain when I come over " I replied hanging up the phone.

Jesse's Pov

That phone call from Lauren was strange I could tell she was upset by the tone in her voice suddenly there was a knock at the door. " Lauren hey come on in so what did you want to talk about " I asked her " Nate broke up with me because of all the drama " Lauren replied crying " hey, hey come here " I said giving her a hug. When Lauren looked up I wiped away the tears from her eyes she then spoke up " when did you get glasses " she asked me " I've had them for a while just never wore them " I replied to her " well they look good on you " she said. " Oh really " I replied smirking and raising my eyebrows " shut up " she said shoving me lightly.

Meanwhile

Nate's Pov

What the fuck did I just do I'm an idiot but I had no choice I know you're probably thinking yeah you do. If I didn't break up with her, she would've been kidnapped again or worse killed I couldn't live with myself knowing I could've done something to prevent it from happening. At least Lauren's away from this life style and from Sam, Derek, Nash and Jace they can't get to her anymore.

The next day : School

Sam's Pov

I was sitting with Derek and Shawn when I see the familiar blue jeep pull up. Out came Lauren with no Nate wow I'm shocked " yo dude she's alone damn that's a shock " Derek said to me with sarcasm in his voice. She was about to walk into the school when I stopped her " Sam what do you want haven't you cause me enough pain " she said to me " wow chill I was just wondering where's Nate " I asked her. " We broke up can I go now " she replied sighing " really hey boys did you hear that pretty boy broke up with Princess here " I said to them chuckling. " Hey Sam " Lauren said then punched me in the face " what the fuck man " I said to her " that's for shooting me and ruining my life and the relationship I had " she replied then walked away. " Dude you okay? " Shawn asked helping me up " yeah man who knew she could pack a punch like that " I replied. 

Benny's Pov

" Hey Lauren " I said to her as she walked into school " hey Benny " she replied giving me a hug. " What happened to your hand? " I asked her " I uh punched Sam in the face " she replied scratching the back of her neck " damn why " I said to her smiling " because he was bragging to the boys about Nate and me breaking up I gotta go see you later Benny bye " she replied walking away. Fuck I didn't actually think they'd break up " hey Benny " Ethan said to me " Lauren just told me her and Nate broke up and that she punched Sam for joking about it " I replied to him. " Wow wasn't expecting that " Ethan said " yeah me neither I don't know if I should be happy or sad about it " I replied " just be there when she needs to talk or a shoulder to cry on " Ethan said to me.
