Walking into school I was still shaking from last night I kept looking over my shoulder waiting for him to pop up I was brought back to reality when I heard yelling I walk faster to see Lauren pushing Nash into the lockers " you better calm down " he yelled back she chuckled at his threat " or what you don't scare me Grier you hurt him again you're dead you think just because you're in a gang that you're untouchable well you're fucking not sleep with one eye open asshole " Lauren threatened back getting right in Nash's face. " What was that all about " I screamed at her " carter I was defending you that's what friends do we protect each other " she replied tears forming " well you made it fucking worse thanks a lot some friend " I spat walking away you're probably thinking why am I pissed at her for doing that Nash offered me a better position that meant severing ties with her I heard footsteps coming from behind " what the hell is your problem huh suddenly you and him are bestfriends " she roared I tried my best to hold my tongue " yeah I am friends with him cause every time I'm around you I get hurt I suffer because of your actions " I scream louder she began to laugh " you suffer please I was the one who suffered when you brought that bastard into my life I was abused day and night and you weren't the one watching over your fucking shoulder so don't you dare lecture me about suffering " she cried tears streaming down her face she walked off everyone was quiet not knowing what to make of what just happened.
Lauren's Pov
What an asshole some friend he was he came to the house wait ... did he plan this fake some bruises then pay the cops to show up making me feel sorry for him as I continued walking out the school I saw Benny with the Scoobydoo gang I waved to him signalling that I needed to talk to him he ran up kissing me and tickling " stop " I spoke letting out a breathy laugh. " So what did you want to talk about babe " he asked holding me close " turns out Carter wasn't hurt it was all part of a plan so he could move up and get a better position so he decided to destroy our friendship he was my bestfriend for so long all those memories and good times demolished just like that " I replied Benny's smile faded he noticed the tear stains pulling me even closer to him " hey about I stay at your place tonight the three of us will get some takeout or cook and we'll watch any movie of your choice how does that sound " he asked excitedly raising his brows causing me to laugh I leaned in and kissed him " that sounds perfect baby " I replied walking down the stairs hand in hand with him I'm so lucky to have him my spell casting rockstar.
Benny's Pov
While we were all watching the kissing booth I noticed Lauren was angrily texting reaching over I grabbed her phone " hey gave it back " she yelled chasing me around the living room and kitchen " no it's for your own good I'm not letting them rule your life " I replied running into the downstairs bathroom locking it. I know it's wrong but I read her messages to see who she was texting Nash ? Shifting around she opened her eyes " morning creepy pants " Lauren spoke her voice hoarse " I was gazing and it's not creepy it's romantic " he replied she furrowed her brows " wow really B how original " she said chuckling " oh I am " he insisted flipping her over so she was on top of him " Amy's downstairs she'll hear us " she whispered " come on baby " he urged kissing down her neck leaving bites " fuck " Lauren breathlessly let out and well you know what happened ya nasty.
Amy-Leigh's Pov
Sitting at the breakfast table drinking my coffee I could've swore I heard Lauren's bed creaking not something you want to hear anyways you're probably wondering what's going on in my life well I've been seeing someone I can't tell you who it is yet because it's complicated it's someone who we all know and I haven't even told Lauren yet she's not going to be pleased once she knows I know she wouldn't judge me but she'll be extra protective this time. The sound of footsteps brought me back to reality " morning lovebirds " I spoke smirking at the both of them " so Amy who have you been sneaking in and out of the house cause the other night all I heard was oh god " she replied in a fake sexual voice and rolling her eyes back for effect I could feel my cheeks heating up we were all to caught up in the moment that we didn't realise someone walked in " hey baby " oh shit Jace no no no what is he doing here " hey " I replied awkwardly I looked to see Benny and Lauren in shock she gave me the " what the fuck " look I wish the ground opened and swallowed me up you could feel the tension in the room " do you mind if I shower here " he asked I swallowed the lump forming in my throat " n-no not at all babe on you go right up " I replied nervously as he walked upstairs I could feel eyes burning into the back of my head I turned around giving a small smile " what the fuck Amy after everything he's done I'm just looking out for you , you I trust him not so much " she spoke giving me a hug then walked upstairs with Benny to her room.
