Cameron's Pov

I can't believe it today's the day where I say goodbye to my bestfriend why did you have to go man what am I going to do without you I love you brother so much a light knock on the door brought me out of my thoughts it was Lauren " almost ready ? " she asked while fixing my tie " yeah I guess how you feeling " I replied she stopped letting out a sigh sitting down " today's not about me Cameron it's about Nash honouring his memory I miss him so much " she spoke feeling deflated " I know that but you witnessed it happen I don't know how you're functioning right now " she cut me off " believe me I don't know either I feel like it's my fault he's dead somehow everyone I care about gets hurt because of me " she stopped for a second wiping tears away " we should uh get going " she replied leaving the room going downstairs. What she said about it being her fault it's not their master manipulators who know how to make people do things they don't want to do they'll pay for what they did to him one way or another anyways I made my way downstairs to the funeral car which included me , Lauren , Sam , Rudy , Bach and Amy about ten to fifteen minutes later we arrived at the church everyone told stories of Nash as a kid and growing up the priest asked Lauren to say a few words she mentioned when they first met etc. After that it was time to say goodbye we all gathered out side some people dropped flowers on top of the casket from the corner of my eye I noticed Jace and .. Nate they've got balls showing up I made my way over to them " what're you both doing here " I spat I was beyond angry " we came to pay our respects " Jace replied calmly " are you serious you're the reason he's dead " I accused pointing at him I could feel tears coming but I'm not giving him the satisfaction of seeing me like that " he deserved it " he spoke before I knew it my first connected with his face " Cam you okay " Lauren spoke running over I took her hand in mine " yeah let's go " I replied walking fast with her everyone went home I told her to go home too " no okay I'm not leaving for you to do something stupid we stick together " she replied we were on the couch I layed my head on her lap as I fell asleep with her stroking my hair.

Jc's Pov

Man I'm exhausted Nash got the send off he deserved it was heartbreaking seeing his Mom trying to stop the burial but what was Cameron and Lauren walking away from they looked a little cosy why wasn't Benny there it's a bit strange letting your girlfriend go alone fair enough it's her ex's funeral but still just to comfort her. I chilled on the couch for a while watching some tv I decided to order some takeout then edit after editing for most of the night I called Lauren just to check in but it went to voicemail " she wouldn't cheat she knows what that's like hope I'm right " I said out loud sighing my phone beeped I received a picture of her leaving what looked to be Cameron's house it was sent by an unknown number I decided to call her " hey Jc what's up " she asked all chirpy " I just got sent a picture of you leaving Cam's care to explain " I asked she sighed look I didn't want him to do something stupid so I went home with him I can assure you nothing happened I'll talk to you tomorrow goodnight Jc " she spoke hanging up gee sorry for being concerned I just wanted to make sure anyways I headed to bed after that.

Cameron's Pov ( Next Day )

I woke up this morning with a huge headache I opened the cupboard getting the adderall and getting a glass of water I still couldn't wrap my head around the fact that Nash is really gone you'll be missed buddy. Everything was just a blur I remember some things wait ... shit I punched Jace then Lauren came home with me so I wouldn't do anything stupid glad she did I tried to make a move on her when she gave me a hug I kissed the side of her neck I think she just brushed it off because I was slightly drunk from the funeral I honestly don't know what I was thinking just because I was mourning it's no excuse. I decided to call her " hey " I spoke my voice hoarse " hey Cam everything okay " she asked voice laced with worry " yeah everything's fine we need to talk about last night it was out of line and inappropriate you're in a relationship " I rambled she chuckled a bit " Cam relax consider it forgotten about I gotta go but see you at school " she replied hanging up.
