Chapter 6

Eve Vision

Harry didn't reply, just got up and moved himself over to the couch in the living room, He angled just right so he could still face us all at the table, “We don't have to record today, so maybe just a lazy day?”

“Sounds good to me!” I didn't notice that Louis had moved until he went soaring over the couch, landing perfectly beside Harry with his legs flung over the back of the couch.

A lazy day sounded good to me too. I didn't know what 'recording' was but it sounded like a lot of work—also sounded kinda painful.

“Care to stay for awhile, Eve?” Zayn asked, resting his head on his folded hands like some professional. I hadn’t thought about it. Would Niall even let me stay? There was no where else I could go besides back to my humble little bush.

“Sure she does” Niall cut in, wrapping his arm around my waist and leading me over to the living room. We squeezed in right next to Louis, with his sprawled out on the cushions there was hardly any room left.

I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding. Thank you Niall!

“In fact, maybe she'd like to move in?” Niall mumbled. I don't think anyone heard him, as no one responded. A wave of joy surged through me. So he wasn't going to turn me away!

“So uh...Mind if Lauren comes over?” Harry asked, “Because she might already be on her way?”

“If Lauren's coming then I should invite Eleanor as well” Louis piped up as well. I take it that these Lauren and Eleanor characters characters are their 'girl friends' but I could be mistaken. Niall didn't look too happy about them coming.

“If Lauren's already on her way then why not?” Zayn laughed then pointed a thumb at the wall phone, indicating for Louis to go call Eleanor. He happily marched is was over to it and gave Niall and me a bit more room to sit.

“So...” Liam started, it was rather silent with Louis gone, “You dating Niall, Eve? Because if not, I'm always available”

W-Was he a-asking me out?! My face flushed red as blood swam to my cheeks. Niall had reacted the same.

“No!” He yelped, “S-She's just a friend”

“Then why is she wearing your Rams jersey? And nothing else, might I add?” Zayn teased.

“I had nothing else to wear” I stepped in, then panicked when I realized what that could suggest, “M-My clothes were all dirty, I tripped on my way here”

“Sure” Liam chucked, obviously not convinced.

One look at Niall could clue me in that he was uneasy about it, so I feverishly shook my head no.

“Really, we're not” Trying to make it a little less awkward I added in a small smile. Why was he interested anyway?

Before another word was spoken the door gingerly cracked open and in stepped a tall, slender woman. She had long brown hair that almost looked silky in texture and wide green eyes, Marveling over her appearance made me wonder, what did I look like exactly? The hair that pooled around my neck indicated that it was almost honey in texture, and my skin was extremely pale. But what did my face look like?

“Lauren!” Harry jumped up from the couch and ran to embrace her in a hug. So I was right about it being a proper greeting! Or maybe...Is it only for lovers? It would explain why Niall first flinched when I hugged him.

“Hi, Harry!” Lauren grinned and hugged back, then her eyes fell to me. At this point in time Niall's arm was resting on the back of the couch and I was resting my back against his chest, “Oh! Who's this?”
