Gray's POV
"Gray.....Gray Fullbuster.....Gray....", the voice called. It sounded like a woman. I couldn't identify the voice well so I listened closer. "Gray......Gray darling.....Gray its me....can you hear me?...Gray...", the voice said again. My eyes snapped open wide. It can't be. That voice I longed to hear ever since I was born. That voice....was the sound of my mother.
"Gray.....sweetheart it's me.....Irene Fullbuster...your mother....Gray can you hear me?...."
I wanted to answer her, but I was too shocked. But I got back to my senses and managed to breathe out...

"M-Mom?....", I said. She chuckled. "Wh-what's so funny?", I said suddenly. She spoke again. "It's just so great to hear your voice from all those years, Gray. If only I had stayed more longer, I would get to hear more of your voice. And the fact that I could finally hear you call me mom for the very first time...its just so pleasant", she said. "Where am I?", I asked, changing the subject. Then a whole whirl of blue flashed in front of me, making me speed forward. "Gray, I'm taking you to where I must tell you what you must know, in the place I wanted to show you ever since you were a little boy", she said. A blast of cold air and magic energy hit my body, making it chill in the inside. For some reason it didn't really hurt me, but made me numb a little.
After about a few moments of absolute dizziness, I finally stopped moving and found myself standing on water. There was a bright blue sparkling sky, and the clouds were parted evenly. Where was I now?
Then, I looked around my surroundings, and found something sitting down by a tree. It looked like a figure of a woman. She had short dark hair like mine, dark blue eyes, and pale skin. She had a silver necklace on that had a cross on it, just like mine, and her smile looked both filled with joy and reunion. But it was a weak smile. "Gray....you've grown up to a very handsome young man. And I see that you've been training to be an ice wizard. I'm so proud of you", she said. I looked at her in complete shock. "How did you find me?...Are you-" "Yes. I'm alive in your heart. I may not be with you right now, but I will and always be with you in the inside. You aren't alone either....", her voice trailed off as if someone else was here with us. There, walking towards us was Ur. My eyes widened. "Hello Gray, I see you've grown up", she said. Really? At first meet from like  generations ago, you say that? "You didn't change that much", I said. Ur chuckled. "Have my teachings paid off for you over the years?", she asked. "Yeah, guess so", I said, scratching my head. She changed her face. "Something wrong?", she asked. "No, it's just...kinda sudden to see you both while I'm dead, in a matter of fact, am I?!", I asked a little panicked. Ur shook her head. "No, you're just out cold. You'll awaken soon,", she said. I sighed in relief. "How's Lyon doing? Is he all right?", she asked. Too many questions can make my brain hurt. "Oh, that bonehead? Yeah, you could say that. Just annoyingly stupid that's all", I replied blankly. "And that stripping habit has gotten over the line for me!", I added. Ur laughed. "You learned wellwqQ then", she said. "So, why am I here in the first place?", I got back on track. The two women fixed their faces and got serious. "Right after you got struck in the chest, we managed to pull you not to the direction of death, but to pull you towards us, and to give you more magic power and spells for you, since this is the only time we are allowed to do this. Since you are unconscious, and close to death, we need to resurrect and nourish you quickly with newborn spells you learned in the future. This may not make much sense, but...Gray, what we needed to tell you and what I mostly needed to tell you...is that...

Your deepest fear is drawing near Magnolia, and will come to destroy you and your comrades", Irene said. I blinked like I didn't hear a word she just said. "You mean spiders?", I asked. Ur chopped my head hard. "OOOW!", I winced. "Be serious!", she hissed. "Oh, I know you were scared of spiders long ago, but that's not it. What I'm tryingtotellyou......Is.....ThhhhhhhhhhhhhAAAt...." "Mom! Hey! Are you okay?!" I tried to communicate with her. Then the whole place started to collapse. "We don't haaaaaaaaave much time here, we need to send you baaaaaaaaaaaack. We're running out of time Irene....", Ur glitched. Irene was trying to tell me my deepest fear, and then I thought it over....and my eyes went dead blank. "You don't mean....", my voice trailed off. Irene and Ur nodded sadly. "He's COMinGGGGG....", they said together. Then a while sea of water poured onto me, crashing onto my cold body, pushing me down. "GRAy!!!", they shouted. I tried to reach out for them, but I breathing wasn't an option for this water. I couldn't move or breathe, so I just let the water take me to where it wants me. My deepest fear.....it can't be true.....can it?
