Chapter 6
Kiona’s POV
I walked in house from sitting outside, watching three boys get arrested. It was Saturday night, and I had nothing to do. The boys were gone to do ‘business’. I missed my baby that night. I wanted to be under him for some reason. I walked back to my room and jumped in bed, under the covers. That’s when my phone started ringing. I picked it up to see the name: Dani. Dang, I ain’t talked to this girl in a good minute. I answered it.
Me: “Hello?”
Dani: “Hey, Ki-Ki, what’s up with ya?”
Me: “Nothing, girl. I ain’t seen you little booty in a while.”
Dani: “I know right! But, see I called you because I wanna know if you wanna get into something tonight?”
Me: “Of course. My man is gone, and I’m bored.”
Dani: “Then get ready. I’ll be at yo place in twenty minutes. Oh, and call Mya and India.”
Me: “I got’chu.”
Both of us hung up. I can’t wait to see this lil girl. Dani was one of my close friends. She wasn’t like India and Mya, but she was close. Dani was a dark-light skin girl and really pretty. She was skinny, with a nice shape booty and breast. Her hair was nice and long. She had pretty, dark, chocolate eyes too. Anyways, I decided to text Mya and India the news. Both of them said they were coming. I went into the bath and took a shower. After a good shower, my hygiene, and throwing on some clothes, I was ready. I wore some peach, skinny jeans, a neon silk, sleeveless shirt, and some black, peach, and white Eastbay Jordan’s. I had little make up, my hair was in its natural curly state, and my lips were shinned up.
I heard two females’ voices calling my name in the front. I walked out of my room and into the living room. There stood Mya and a pregnant India. The both were looking good.
I smiled at them. “I see my girls!” I exclaimed. Both of them laughed.
“Where are we going?” India asked.
“I don’t know. I’m sure Dani will tell us.” Just as I said that, somebody was knocking at my door. I walked over, unlocked it, and opened the door. There stood our old crew, which consisted of Dani, Kyle, Alana, and Cairo. Kyle is Dani’s boyfriend. Kyle is fine! He’s light skin. He had a nice size body. He had short, curly hair. His eyes were a grey color. He also had him some dimples. Alana was our other close friend. She was light skin and a little skinny girl. Her hair was jet black and was at the middle of her back. Her eyes were a hazel color. Cairo is Alana’s boyfriend. He was a dark skin boy. He was nice a ripped. He had a nice haircut, with the deep waves. His eyes were chocolate brown.
“What’s up!?” Alana greeted, giving us a hug.
“What’s up, lil girl?” Cairo greeted.
I instantly gave him a hug. Cairo was like a brother too me. Well, to all of us. He wouldn’t let a living soul touch us. He and Kyle were both protective over us.
“I see yo fast self-got pregnant,” Kyle told India. She giggled and nodded, while rubbing her well rounded stomach.
“Where are we going?” Mya asked, sucking on a lollipop.
“The movies and everywhere else,” Dani informed us.
“Let’s go then.”
We all rushed out my apartment. Kyle drove us in his Navigator. We were all hyped and ready to release our energy.
India’s POV
We all walked in the movie theater loud. People were minding their business. This is the usual around here in Compton. It was a lot more teens in there anyways. We all went to the concession stands paid for a snack and went to watch out movie.
