Chapter 12

Kiona’s POV

As I got ready for school, I played: Slow Down by Selena Gomez. I took me a good shower. I then did my hygiene and got dressed. I wore a bluish-green plaid shirt. I had on some True Religion greenish tie-dye skinny jeans. I slipped on my greenish Vans. I applied little make-up. I put my hair into a doughnut. I pulled out my lip gloss and applied it to my lips. Trevan came in, with no shirt on. He walked over to the skin and started brushing his teeth. I took my phone and snapped a couple a pictures. I put my best picture on Instagram, with the caption: Good-morning IG! On my way to school. #Ready to learn! Trevan came up behind me and took my phone. He wanted to take a picture, so we did, and he put it on his instagram.

Good-morning from me and my girl! Getting some love before she head to school. Love you @Rebel Kid.

I gave him a kiss and hopped off the counter. I told him I loved him and left for school.

When I made it to school, I went to my locker pulling out my books I needed. I then headed to the cafeteria. When I stepped in, I saw the crew. I walked over, happily greeting everybody.

“What did you and Tre do this morning?” India asked, looking at me.

“Why?” I asked.

“You’re smiling a little too much.”

“Leave the child alone. She can smile however she wants,” Mya stepped in.

“Mya, shut up,” India told her.

“You, trick.”

“I ain’t about to argue with you, Mya Brielle Harris.”

I shook my head at them. Those two are something else. I sat in my regular spot. We were all silent. It was a little unusual. I guess we were getting in the zone. The bell rung and we left for class.

Trevan’s POV

I took me a shower, did my hygiene, and got dressed. I wore some regular jeans, a black t-shirt read: Speak Your Mind, and some white Nike’s tennis shoes. I picked up my keys and left.  I jumped in my car and drove off. I was heading over to the trap for a minute.

As I pulled up to the trap house, Tony was too. Both of us stepped out. We walked up to the house and went in. We walked to the back to get our packs ready for the day. As we walked to the back and went to the safe, it was open, revealing the emptiness. I looked at Tony and back at the safe. All the money was gone. Tony ran out of the room and to the other. I couldn’t believe the money was gone. Tony came back in, hot.

“Bruh, they took the drugs too!”

“What!?”
