Chapter 13
India’s POV
Blake and I walked in the house from going to the park. I spent some of the day with him after school. I looked at the time to see it was 6:30 in the evening. Ron wasn’t in. He spent the day with Nala. He said he wanted to show her off. I went up to my room and changed into my pajamas. Just as I lay down, my phone started ringing. I picked it up, looking at the name. I saw the name: Ki-KiJ. I swiped the answer button.
Me: “What’s up, boo?”
K: “What’s good?”
Me: “Blake and I just got in.”
K: “Oh. Where is my God-baby?”
Me: “With her daddy.”
K: “Well, you wanna go shopping for tomorrow?”
Me: “Yea. Let me call Ron.”
K: “Ok.”
I hung up and texted Ron.
{Loyal to the Game} Bae, can I have money to go shopping and get my nails done for tomorrow?
{RON the Game} Yea. Come up to McDonalds.
I quickly threw some clothes on. I walked downstairs and into Blake’s room. He was in his room, watching TV. I asked if he wanted to go over to his friend’s house, and he agreed. So, I called his friend’s momma, asking can she watch him for a couple of hours. She agreed to keep him. We left and I took him over to his friend’s house. I then made my way to McDonalds. As I went in, I saw Ron sitting down, holding Nala. He was feeding her a fry and talking to her. I walked over to them. He looked up, taking his money out and giving it to me. I thanked him before picking up my child and kissing all on her. Then, I left to meet the girls.
Kiona’s POV
Since tomorrow is graduation and our birthdays, we decided to go shopping. We were in the mall, buying what we need or wanted. We were in Rue 21, buying dresses, shoes, and jewelry. We then walked to Journey’s. I bought some Doc Martens, Vans, stilettos, and more. We went to many more stores. After we were done, we had about five or more bags each. We left the mall and went to get our nails done. All of us had a different design, but we all looked good.
India Me Mya
We then went to a tattoo parlor.
“I’m scared!” Mya whined.
“Just try it,” India told her, walking straight in. We walked up to the desk and signed the paper. Mya was real shaky. She wanted one, but she didn’t want a needle drawing on her.
“It’s going to be fine,” I tried comforting her.
She gave me a look like she wanted to cuss me, but she never did. She just put beasts on and listened to music. Soon enough, we were called to the back. All of us were split up. I came into a room and sat on a chair. It was a lady in there. She smiled and asked what a wanted. I told her I wanted. First, she drew out what I wanted. She showed me to confirm it with me. It was really good, so she got right to work.
Sometime later, I heard her telling me she was done. I slowly stood up. I walked over to the mirror. I pulled my shirt up, turning to the side. I looked at the tattoo on my red spot. It was hurting, but I liked it. I thanked her and walked out. I saw the girls in the lobby. I walked over, asking what they got. We showed each other our tats. My tattoo said: If things start to go bad, don’t go with them. India had a flower thing on her hip. Mya had a vine, with flowers on them on her right foot.
