Chapter 7: Changing my mind

Aphmau's POV

   As I was upstairs, I kept getting text and calls from Aaron. I was starting to get annoyed so I answered the last one.

*Conversation start*

A- "What do you want?"

Aa-"What's going on? Is there something I don't know?"

A-"Yes and I don't want to talk about it. Look I have to go. Go have fun with Lily."

I hung up on him

    I found the perfect place. It was an apartment. I was going to live alone this time. Or again I should say. I am really going to miss this place, but I am only going to get bullied here. I bought the thing online and started packing. I stopped once I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," I said. The door opened slowly. I turned to see Aaron. "Just great," I mumbled.

"Aph, what are you doing?" He asked

"What does it look like?" I replied.

"You're moving, aren't you?" He asked with a bit of anger in his voice.

"Look I am sorry, but I have to. I already bought the apartment," I said packing the last of my things away.

"Why are you leaving again," he said quietly.

"Pardon?"

"WHY ARE YOU LEAVING AGAIN?" He yelled.

I just wanted to cry,but I couldn't. "Aaron I understand that you're upset. I don't want to go. But if it means that I get to live better than if I stay here, I'll take it."

"What are you hiding from me?"

"I told you not to worry about it. Now if you will excuse me, I have to put these in my car." I said carrying a box to the door.

"Not until you tell me what's going on," he blocked the door.

"No Aaron. Please move. I don't want to get into trouble. Please," I pleaded.

"Who would you get in trouble with?"

"Aaron, please move," tears were staring to form, so I hid my face.

"I'll move," he walked out of the room.

Only if he knew. I can't tell him. I'll die if I do. I walked down stair and outside to have a visitor. Lily was standing right before me yet again.

"What's going on between you and Aaron?" She asked.

"Nothing. And you won't be seeing me around here anymore. I am moving once again," I told her while looking down.

"Good, I know he has always loved you more than me. Now I know you won't be a threat," she said with a smile.

"Your the one who has been bullying Aphmau?" Aaron said coming out of the bushes. "Lily, Aphmau is my best friend. And of course I love her. It's different from the way I love you though."

"Look I have to get going," I said putting the box in the car. I went to go back inside, but I felt small arms wrap around my legs.

"Please don't go Miss Aphmau," I look down to see Jacob crying.

"Jacob she is going," Lily replied sternly.

I looked down at little Jacob. "Why do you want me to stay? I don't know you to well," I smiled at him.

"I heard stories about you and how daddy saves you and how you hated each other and then came to realize you were best friends," he said looking up at me. His eyes were puffy from crying.

"Aaron, you told him stories about is in high school?" I was really shocked.

"Yeah," Aaron said smiling while rubbing the back of his head.

I couldn't help but smile. I picked up Jacob and told him,"I am going to stay." I put him down and went to cancel the house payment. I went back downstairs to see Aaron, Jacob, and one unhappy Lily.
