How He Helped Us

Chapter 9

Aphmau's POV

    When Jacob said I could come back downstairs, I sat on my bed for a moment before heading down. Aaron and Jacob were smiling. I couldn't help but smile.

    "Ready to go now?" I asked them.

    "Yeah, Miss Aphmau?" Jacob said. And before I could answer he asked,"Do you love my daddy?"

    I stared at him for a while. I looked up at Aaron who was still smiling. Then, I looked back down at Jacob. "Oh course I do. And you know what?" I asked with a smile.

    "What?" He giggled.

    I got down on I level with him and said,"I love you just the same. Jacob, I love you very much. I will be here for you when you need me. I will be here to help you when you need it."

    Jacob had tears in his eyes. He ran up and hugged me. I hugged him tightly. "I love you too Miss Aphmau. I want you to be with daddy forever," he cried.

    "That's only if your daddy wants me to be with him. We only started dating, so it might end up in the right places," I whispered in his ear.

    "Alright let's get going. I am really hungry," Aaron said breaking the moment.

    "Yeah, let's," I picked up Jacob and we walked to Olive Garden.

    When we got there, the waitress started flirting with Aaron. Jacob looked very annoyed with her, but she eventually stopped. During diner, Aaron thought it was funny to spit ice at me. (Btw my dad does this to me and it isn't very nice to have ice in your eye.) It landed in my eye. He laughed and Jacob laughed. I joined in because why not.

    "So Jacob, how about after this we get you some stuff for school and some clothes?" Aaron asked.

    "That sounds good to me. But I don't know about school," Jacob replied nervously.

    "Don't worry Jacob, there are kids that I know that are going to Phoenix Drop Elementary," I told him.

    "Who are they?" He asked.

    "Well there Nekoette, Demitri, and Abby," I answered.

    "Hey I know them. I met them at a park once and we played together. I really liked Nekoette. She was really sweet. Then, Demitri was the cool one. He acted all brace and stuff. And Abby, she was nice. I became her best friend," Jacob said.

    "Well now you should be excited for school. I bet Nekoette likes you too. Take it slow okay?" Aaron was giving advice.

    Jacob nodded and we continued eating. After we are we went to get stuff for Jacob and then headed back to Aaron's house. Jacob was tired so he went to the guest bedroom which is now his bedroom. Aaron and I sat on the couch and watched some tv. I was so tired that I ended up falling asleep in his lap.

Aaron's POV

    I see Aphmau fall into my lap. She is asleep. I chuckle a little bit. I picked her up bridal style and carried her up to my bedroom. Then, I place her in the bed and I cover her. Aphmau was peaceful when she was sleeping.

    I walked out to check on Jacob. He was asleep as well. I went in and kissed his forehead.

    I walked out and shut the door then went back into your room and shut the door. I got into bed. I grabbed her waist and pulled her as close to me as possible. I kissed the back of her head and fell asleep.
