Chapter 8: Secrets Revealed

Aphmau's POV

"So what do you all want for dinner?" I asked them.

Jacob started jumping up and down. "Can we found to Olive Garden?" He asked excitedly.

"I don't mind if we go," Aaron stated. "Lily do you want to go?"

"Not with her. I was thinking about a family dinner. You, me, and Jacob could all go out or you and I could go out and leave this potato to watch Jacob," Lily suggested.

"Um, I don't think so. Aphmau may be short, but she isn't a potato," Aaron stated.

Lily had an angry look in her eyes. "Fine date this potato. I am done with you Aaron," she crossed her arms and turned around.

"That's good because I am dating this 'potato'," he said putting his arm around me. Aaron smiled and gave me a kiss.

Lily stood in awe. Jacob on the other hand, he ran up and hugged me. I picked him up and squeezed him. Aaron laughed at me. I smiled. I felt like I had a son, an child. I loved Jacob like he was mine.

"Have fun with Jacob. I won't need that brat anymore. I am going to France. Bye," and with that, Lily left.

It was just Jacob, Aaron, and me. "Now, you want to go to Olive Garden?" I asked Jacob.

"Yeah, I love Olive Garden. Daddy used to take me there all the time. But I have a question daddy," Jacob said looking over at Aaron.

"Yes Jacob?"

"It's a private question," he looked down.

"I'll leave. I'll be in my room if you need me," I smiled and put Jacob down then went upstairs.

Aaron's POV

"What is it Jacob?" I asked him.

"Well, Miss Aphmau is really nice. To be honest, she is better than Lily. I am not going to respect her. Lily I mean. I am not going to respect Lily. She left me. She only used me to get to you," he said.

My eyes widen when I heard that. "Jacob, what do you mean she was using you to get to me?"

    "She would always force me to do things to impress you. Those dinners from the anniversaries weren't made by her, but me. She abused me dad. I couldn't tell you because she would have killed me. I mean she tried, but I am still here," he said looking down.

    "That car accident wasn't an accident? It was a murder plan?" I asked starting to panic.

    Jacob nodded. "But dad the worst thing was she was going to find Miss Aphmau and kill her," Tears rolled down his face.

    I hugged Jacob and didn't let go. A few tears steamed down my face. I eventually let go. I looked at him and wiped the tears away. "Nothing and nobody is going to hurt you or Aphmau. I promise you, Aphmau is going to be the best mother to you. I can tell she loves you. She would never hurt you," I told him.

    "Aphmau you can come down now," Jacob shouted up the stairs.
