Chapter 11: Aphmau and Jacob

Aphmau's POV

Aaron left, leaving Jacob and me alone. He finished breakfast and sat on the couch. I followed him and sat down next to him.

"Miss Aphmau, will you every leave daddy?" He asked looking down.

My eyes widened. "Jacob, I wouldn't dream of it," I responded.

"Will you ever cheat on him?" He asked, still looking down.

"Jacob, where is this all coming from?" I asked. I was curious.

A single tear ran down his face and onto his lap. "Because that's what Lily did," he said.

I stood up and walked in front of him. I got down on my knees and picked up his head. "Hey bud," Jacob looked at my with his year filled eyes. "I will do everything in my power to keep you both happy. I will never do anything to upset you both. I will not do what Lily did," I told him.

Jacob gave me a really big hug and cried on my shoulder. "I love you Miss Aphmau," he cried.

"I love you too Jacob," I hugged him tightly. A couple tears fell on his back. "I love you so much," I cried.

We hugged for what seemed like forever. He pulled away slowly. I wiped away his tears. I kissed his head and smiled. He smiled too.

"Come on, let's go get dres-" I heard thunder and looked outside and it was down pouring. "Looks like we will be staying inside today," I laughed.

"We can play board games, watch movies, draw, and color," Jacob said excitedly.

"We can make a fort and read stories in it. We can turn off the lights and use a flash light as if we were camping. There is so much we can do," I mentioned.

Jacob jumped up and down,"First can we watch a movie. Oh and eat popcorn?"

"What would be a movie without popcorn," I giggled. I rubbed the top of Jacob's head. "I'll make the popcorn and you pick out a movie," I said getting up and walking into the kitchen.

A couple minutes later, the popcorn was finished. I walked into the living room and sat down.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked.

"We are watching The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Jacob said.

"I love that movie. Alright, push play," I said and he did so.

"That was a good movie. How about I make lunch and you set the table," I stated.

"Okay," Jacob smiled.

I made lunch as Jacob set the table. For lunch I made chicken sandwiches with lettuce and mayonnaise. On the side I had fresh strawberries and black berries. There was also some melted for dipping the strawberries.

"Jacob, lunch time," I yelled from the kitchen.

"Coming," he yelled back. He ran into the kitchen. "This looks so good mommy," he said.

"Well I hope you enjoy,"I smiled. I loved seeing kids smile.

"I will. Thank you so much."

"Your welcome. Come on let's eat," he nodded and sat down.

The power went out after they finished building a fort.

"Just in time. We can read books, color, and I can tell you stories," I said grabbing a flashlight from the cabinet.
