Chapter 14: Proposal

This is a time skip to 3 years later.

Aphmau's POV

It has been a good three years with Aaron and Jacob. Honestly, I never EVER want to let them go. Jacob and I became very close. He is actually turning 10 in a couple months. I don't like my little boy growing up so fast. Then there is Aaron. He is a giant pain, but I love him anyway.

"Hey Aphmau! Do you want to go out this Friday night?" Aaron asked.

"Sure, I'd love to," I happily agreed.

"Good. Jacob is going over to Dante's house for a sleepover with Demitri. Or a hang out. Whatever, he is still sleeping over there. Nekoette and Abby will also be there so they are all going to hangout I am guessing," Aaron stated.

"I can't wait. What am I supposed to wear?" I asked.

"Something nice. I will not let anything ruin this date," he said like a superhero justice man. He ran out of the room and left me alone.

~~~~~Time skip to Friday~~~~~

He seemed suspicious. Is he planning something? I don't know. Well might as well get ready.

I put on my favorite purple knee high dress and black wedges. The amulet that Jacob gave me on my birthday last year. And my hair was done in a braid bun with a butterfly hair clip to top off the look.

I walked out of the bedroom to see Aaron waiting in the living room. He wore a black button up, jean shorts, and red boat shoes. He looked really
handsome.

"Ready to go my lady?" Aaron asked. He put his hand out for me to take. I took it and smiled.

"I am indeed," I responded.

"Very well, off to dinner then," he smiled. He led me outside to the park.

The park was decorated in fairy lights. There was a picnic blanket set up. It was beautiful.

"Aaron, this is so pretty. No it's beautiful. Still not the words. It's amazing," I finally said. I kissed his cheek. He blushes lightly.

"I did it all when you went out with Jacob earlier," he said. "Shall we eat? I am hungry and I am sure you are as well."

"I am. What's on the menu?" I asked.

"I stopped by Olive Garden and got breadsticks. There is also spa-" he didn't even finish. I interrupted him.

"YOU GOT BREADSTICKS?" I yelled.

His ears were covered. "I did," he replied removing his hands. "There's also spaghetti. To drink I got sparkling cider."

"That sounds really good. Thank you for this," I said.

"You're welcome. Now let's eat."

We sat down on the picnic blanket. Aaron pulled everything out and set it up. Everything was still warm. It tasted amazing.

"I love you Aphmau," Aaron said.

"I love you too," I kissed his lips.

"Why don't we walk up the hill and sit on the bench," he suggested.

"Okay," I got up and walked hand and hand with him the hill.

We didn't sot down, but Aaron turned sideways and faces me.

"Um... there's somethings I want to say," Aaron stated nervously.

"What is it?" I asked. I was kind of worried.

"I have loved you for the longest time," he started. He held both of my hands. His eyes were locked with mine. It felt like something big was going to happen. I couldn't put my go fire on it though.

Aaron continued snapping me out of thought," Jacob and I love you very much and we want you to be part of our family. On way to make it official is that you adopt him. And another is if I do this." Aaron pulled out a tiny box and got down on one knee. I felt tears in my eyes.

"Aphmau, will you marry me?" Aaron finished.

"YES," I yelled. I got down on my knees and hugged him. I might have fallen on top of him on the process. He laughed and I smiled. I kissed him. We sat up and he slipped the ring on my figure.

It was a silver ring with a purple diamond in the middle. Around the ring were little white diamonds.

"Aaron it's beautiful," I said looking at the ring.

"A beautiful ring for an amazing, gorgeous, and smart girl," Aaron stated with a smile. I blushed.

"I love you so much Aaron," I said.

"I love you too Aph."
