~~~~~A month before the wedding~~~~~
Aaron's POV
I got a call from work. That's strange. They never call me.
(Aaron's Boss=AB)
Aa: Hello?
AB: Aaron, this isn't a choice, but you need to leave the country for a couple years.
Aa: WHAT? WHY?
AB: It's for work. We are moving you over to England for five years.
Aa: I am sorry but that's a no.
AB: Aaron, extra money. If you don't you're fired.
Aa: How long do I have?
AB: You leave June 12.
Aa: Cam you pick a different date? I am getting married on that day.
AB: Nope. Move the date to before you leave. Well then, good bye.
*Hamgs up the phone*
"DANG IT! I HATE THIS SO MUCH!" I yell. Aphmau walks into our bedroom. Her face has a worried expression on it.
"Aaron, hun, what's wrong?" She asked.
"I need to talk to you and Jacob now," I said calming down.
Aphmau and Jacob sat down on the couches in the living room. I stood in front of them. I was scared to tell them I was leaving. I didn't want to. But to support my family.
"Um... I have some news," I said nervously.
"What is it?" Jacob asked excitedly.
"I... have to leave for five years..." I saw Aphmau's and Jacob's smiles fade.
I continued,"Um... I have to go alone for the trip. It's for work. I am very upset that I have to leave. I don't want to, but there is more money that is coming in. If I don't go I will lose the support on the house, meaning I will be fired."
Aphmau got up and left. Jacob started to cry. I walked over to him and hugged him. He hugged me back.
"I am sorry bud," I whispered. Jacob sobbed in my shoulder.
"Go check on Aphmau. It's okay. I'll be fine. I will have Aphmau with me," Jacob said. He tried smiling.
"That's my boy," I said. I released the hug and went to see Aphmah. She was in our room crying.
"Hey Aaron," she said. She was facing the opposite direction.
"How did you know it was me?" I asked.
"I heard your foot steps," She turned around and continued to speak. "Do you love me?" Aph asked getting off the bed.
"I love you with everything I have," I responded walking closer to her.
"Well, what if I told you I was pregnant?" Aphmau looked down.
"You're pregnant," I asked excitedly.
"I am," she looked up.
"Aphmau, that's great! That's amazing! That's awesome! Jacob is going to be an older brother," I stared happily.
"You're not upset?" Aphmau asked.
"I am at my boss, but you being pregnant, that made my day," I said. I hugged Aphmau and she hugged me back.
"I love you Aphmau," I whispered.
"I love you too," she said. Her head was in my chest.
"JACOB YOU'RE GOUNG TO BE A BIG BROTHER!" I yelled.
"REALLY?" I heard him yell excitedly.
Aphmau and I laughed. Jacob ran up the stairs and hugged us both.
"I love you mom, I love you dad," Jacob said.
"I love you too Jacob," Aphmau and I said at the same time.
Jacob and Aphmau giggled. I smiled and thought,"This is my family. This is my home."
