Chapter 10

The days went by quickly, in no time it was the weekend again and I had 8 days left till I leave. The Volturi left with a warning of a rogue werewolf around the area. The Cullens and Quileautes didn't have time to bother me at all since they had to double their watch.

I, of course, didn't sit on my lily white ass doing nothing. I had wolf's bane hidden in areas here and there and kept my guard up. The Vampires and shifters might be stronger than humans but compared to other supernaturals they are not that power full.

As for the verdict on whether or not I'll be changed into a vampire, well it went a little different than I thought it would. Aro gave me a small lecture that entailed that I should keep the secret or else. I'm sure he thought I was thoroughly scared with Demitri looming over his shoulder doing the classic bad guy act, cracking the knuckles and all.

So like the good little human they think I am I agreed with a few well placed tears and a dramatic escape to my room when he congratulated Edward and Leah.

Really, I should get an award. Step aside Leo Di Caprio there's a new star.

The Cullens and Volturi don't get along well with eachother and it came as a shock to EVERYONE when Aro congratulated them. Though I was surprised as well I have a theory on why he did that.

Aro is like a child collecting action figures, he will be friends with other children with rare action figured he doesn't have in order to keep them at arms length.

In other words he thinks that if Leah and Edward are together he will have the shifters as a part of his powers. He is so power hungry that no amount of power will satisfy him.

As for school, well with each outfit getting sexier and hotter the populars started talking to me more and I started hanging with them more. The Terrible four didn't talk to me again, thank the gods, however they went back to glaring from afar.

Two people I didn't see in school are Angela and Ben which is worrisome, Ben made it to school a few days, however he looked like a waking corpse. When I tried talking to him to ask about Angela and his well being he stuttered a response and escaped.

From what I was able to gather, Angela's parents are away on a holiday and her older brother is in college so she is home alone. That got me worried again because of the Wolf hanging around.

The sound of the bell got me out of my glaring match with Jessica who was my partner in Biology. Mr Banner must think he is funny to make us partners.

I packed my bag and headed to my truck, gunned the engine and was on my way.

10 minutes later I arrived at the Weber residence.

I walked over to the entrance and raised my hand to knock, but I stopped. There was a strange sound that no human ears could have caught from here. It was the sound of growling, from the tone it was that of a wolf man, the stage between shifting and being human. That's when the scent hit my nose, the scent of Wolf. New wolf

Then I heard another voice,
"Angie, please hold on the book said this will help you." that was the voice of Ben.

Everything clicked in my head and I didn't think twice before I knocked the door down and entered the house. I ran up the stairs a bottle of monks shood in my hand.

Ben was comforting the thing that was growling, no, not thing. Werewolf.
He called it, Angie.
Angela didn't come to school for for a week.
The Volturi warned us of a rogue wolf.

I finally reached Angela's room door, indicated with its pink doorknob. I threw the door open only to find a female half wolf growling and drooling over a crying Ben.
It looked at me with glowing Blue eyes and without thinking I threw the bottle at it.

Monks shood is from the same family as wolf's bane however with different effects.

The half wolf whined lowly before it started shrink and the hair started receding untill the naked body of Angela Weber is all that remained. Ben was still whimpering but his eyes held concern rather than fear.

I raised my eyebrow at him as he advanced towards the body of Angela. He placed his fingers on her neck and a moment of silence fell over the room till he sighed in relief obviously sensing her pulse.

A true boyfriend is always concerned about his girlfriend even if she turned to a huge hairy wolf and almost killed him.
Boys, take notes.

I walked over to Angela and picked her up laying her on the bed and covering her with a blanket. Once I made sure that she was tucked in I turned to Ben and helped him up.

He had a sheepish smile on his face and he said" Can you forget that you saw me like that?"

I smiled at him and replied," Sure thing Ben, but first tell me how your girlfriend turned to a huge wolf."

He smiled back albeit shaky, "Sure"

And with that the both of us headed downstairs to talk about how Ben's girlfriend and my friend turned to a werewolf.

Damn that sounds like a TV show. I'd watch It.
