Chapter 18

I was on the couch back at Charlie's place and was clutching my stomach in pain from excessive laughter.

When I got back from my meeting with Tiema it was around Dinner time so all three of us sat down to eat. Why three you may ask, well because Seth and Leah had patrol.

Anyway, so we are sitting around and I hear them talking about their day when Sue asks me about mine. After mom's acceptance of her and Charlie dating, Sue seemed to have opened up to me a bit. Though I think that's mainly because she now knows I'm not Charlie's blood daughter and thus aren't a threat anymore.

Funny how small things such as DNA and the likes could alter a person's perspective of you in a matter of seconds. How fickle of humans.

So I told mama wolf about my day. She was mad at Charlie for letting me go out with the rogues running around and when she asked him why he didn't take me his reply was;

"She needed her feminine products, why would I go with her?"

With a nonchalant shrug.

To be fair I think it's worth mentioning that Charlie never bought me pads or tampons because I went out to buy them myself when the while mess started when I was 14. With Renee being so scatter brained I had to mature early and so some things I relied on myself for. Not that I'm complaining or anything.

I think I should have pointed this out to Sue at that moment because with my wolf senses I knew what her next move was. But call me cruel or evil because I didn't.

Charlie's nonchalant face was covered in chocolate pudding within seconds and I was safely in the doorway laughing at the spectacle. There he was, the mighty Chief Swan in all his uniformed glory covered in chocolate pudding.

There was a moment of silence as I tried to hide my laughter (uselessly might I add) and then Sue blew up again.

"What kind of father...."

I tuned out her rant after that because one, I was laughing so hard, two, Charlie looked hilarious with his eyes so big and chocolate covering his badge and face, three, Seth and Leah walked in at that time.

The three of us watched from the doorway, Me laughing, Seth with his mouth open and in shock and Leah shaking her head not at all surprised by this scene.

What a good dinner, I thought to myself all the while cackling and earning myself weirded out looks from Seth.

I was drying my hair in my room when my phone rang. It was Scott's ring tone so I immediately answered.

"Yo, Scotty boy,"

"Bella!" Came Scott's strangled reply.

"Um....Scarlet I gotta um..go feed my um...goat, YEAH GOAT ahahahahahha bye"

I blinked owlishly at my phone for a second before face palming. I need to work with Scott on his lying.

"Hey, Sorry about that Bells"

"I better not be the goat you're gonna feed," I warned

"Course not, the goat is Stiles," he replied in a duh tone like I should have known all along.

We shared a laugh at Stiles' expense before he started updating me on what's happened in Beacon Hills. Apparently Scarlet and Francesca have been getting quite persistent with their attempts to get Scott to join them.

I said my goodbyes and got dressed then I sent out three emails.

One to Chris Argent to see if the wolves spoke yet.

Another to Stiles with strict orders to embarrass the Cannatas.

And he third to Derek, I'll need his help for my grand plan.
