Chapter 6

The chatter of my dear classmates ceased and you could hear a pin drop.

Everyone had a look of complete and utter shock as they regarded me seated on my desk looking at them with an innocent look. A voice broke through.

"Okay lets start this less-" Mr Banner never got to finish his sentence because his eyes finally landed on the source of everyones distraction and he was a goner.

When he finally regained his senses his face turned bright red and he ushered his student to their chairs. His reaction would have been amusing if I wasn't too busy looking for the canines and corpses. Finally after the class filled up with everyone Mr. Banner answered my unsaid question.

"As most of you have noticed we have 7 students missing from our usual 20. The Cullen and Hale siblings along with Mr. Black, Mr. Lahote and Miss Clearwater have all been excused today seeing as they have some things to deal with at their home and the reservation" He explained, making sure to look at everyone but me.

"Now if you would turn to page 394 and read silently ...." he continued.

Things to deal with? I thought to myself. How strange the volturi arrives and they skip school.

Now that was a no brainer, it's probably related to eachother.

I looked out the window and let a sigh escape me. Gah, they'll probably ask that I come to their house as soon as school is over. I grimaced at that thought.

The intercom buzzed to life making us all cover our ears.

"Mr. Banner would you please report to the principals office, it's regarding your class's latest test marks," the cheerful voice of Mrs. Cope said through the intercom.

I swear the whole class gulped in unision while I looked at them amusement dancing in my eyes.

Even though like 10 days left till the summer or in this case winter holiday, the school made a test for all the biology students, a test that was so difficult that even the Cullens came out shaky after it. So for the principal to say that he wants to discuss the marks with Mr. Banner is a huge deal.

Mr. Banner gave us all a look that clearly said continue your reading, then he left.

A moment of silence passed and then the class erupted in chatter.

"Fuck me, Swan, you look hot!" the voice of the schools quarterback, Ben Anderson, cut through all the chatter and everyone stopped their chatter and turned to me.

I turned to Ben and gave him a once over.

He was classically hot with Dark brown hair that is swept to the side, piercing blue eyes and a body that will make all that is Female (and male) beg. I smiled at him showing him my pearly whites and said a simple "Thank you, Ben and same goes to you" throwing in a wink and the poor boy looked like a deer caught in headlights.

I turned too look at him fully and all he managed was a stutter of " a-a-a huh y-y tha-a-a-a "

Chase Andrews his best friend and team mate smacked him on the back of the head to get him to function again

"A hot girl tells you you are hot and you stutter like a freshman, damn Benny where is your charm?" Chase chastised his friend then turned to me with a huge smile making the whole class laugh.

"Excuse Benny-boo my dear Bella, its just the first time he is complimented by a women" Chase said with a teasing smile and sat on my desk after moving my bio book to the side.

I threw my head back and laughed, while Ben stuttered "Hey! Women compliment me all the time!"

Chase looked at him with a goofy smile and said a simple, "Your mom doesnt count."

In our school Chase claims the title of "The Joker". He makes everyone laugh and his pranks are a daily occurance and his two side kicks that help him are Carson and Carter Callahan the twins.

Chase has shaggy brown hair that reached his shoulders and hazel eyes that and his rockin' bod makes him at the top of Forks High hierarchy.

The twins, Carter and Carson, are identical in all except while both have blonde hair Carter has green eyes while Carson has blue eyes.

They continued their friendly banter, and the rest of the class joined in. That's when my eyes landed on the terrible four who were glaring at me and I just blew them a kiss.

The day went on and seeing everyone's reaction to me never got old the terrible four had some classes with me but didn't approach me. I didn't catch a single glimpse of neither corpse nor canine all day.

By the end of the day I was introduced to the top of the top in our school as Chase and Ben practically forced me to sit at their table at lunch (Ben threw me over his shoulder) it was truly a fun day.

I walked out the school when my phone buzzed signaling an incoming text.
It was from Charlie .

Bella, do not come back home the Volturi are here and your presence is not required here.

I raised my eyebrow at the text and sighed. Great now where do I go.

I looked around amd found the parking lot empty except for me and the terrible four the started approaching me and judging by their glare its gonna end up in a fight.

Their approach was cut when a loud car engine was heard and a sleek black Mercedes Benz 2015 stopped a couple of metres from me.

The driver walked out and shook his brownish blonde hair and took off his glasses as his eyes finally stopped on me. He grinned and came towards me and said

"Hello there Sweetheart long time no see!"

Ladies and gentlemen Peter Hale has arrived.

I gotta feeling those won't end well, at all.
